Congrats! I love your wedding date, I am getting married at Dreams Cabo on April 11th 2011. This website is so good for helping you plan your entire wedding!

We are getting married in Cabo on 4.11.11 and are doing just a symbolic ceremony, we did our legal ceremony in california it is o much easier to just do a symbolic ceremony in Mexico, we both see the Mexico date as our real wedding and this is the day we will always celebrate our anniverssary! Just over 3 months to go!

We are not doing a welcome dinner either. We are lucky enought o have a guest coming who is hosting a cocktail party for us at the One and Only La Palmilla, which we are so excited about!

I looked at this resort but in the end decided on Dreams as they have so much experience with Weddings!

I am sure you will be happy with which ever one you choose! I haven't stayed at either of them but I would probably choose the one where the reception is just too make it easy after the reception! Good luck with your choice.

David is my wedding co-ordinator he has been really good. I will p.m you about the d.j. I have spoken with suzanne once and have been trying to speak to her again for the last few weeks but it is so hard with the time difference, i ma hopefully going to book her this week, her work does look good but i also think she is quite pricey!!

Hi Teira, We are having our ceremony in the gazebo and our dinner on the Oceana Terrace, i dont know how we ended up with the Oceana terrace i need to speak with my wedding co-ordinator as it seems that Cascade terrace is much better! We are then moving inside after dinner, I couldn't handle the party having to end at 10.30pm! We are having d.j Ricardo start when we move inside at 9.30pm! Our colours are tiffany's blue and pale pink. I had the same problem deciding on centerpieces i was going to just do candles with shells on the tables and maybe some vases with floating candles, have now decided on doing 3 vases filled with water and 1 pink orchard in each with floating candles, i will probably do some extra candles on the tables. We are also having the overhead lanterns, i wanted to do the under table light but it just starts to get too expensive! We have 22 people confirmed and still waiting to hear back from about 40 people, we dont expect to many other people will come, we live in Australia and my Fiance is English so it is along way for people to travel. We will have to have a drink together at Dreams! Who are you getting for you hair and make up? This site is so helpful, i couldn't organise my wedding with out it!!

Teira how long are you staying at Dreams for after your wedding? My wedding is on April 11th and we arrive at Dreams on April 8th! How is all your planning coming along? Victoria

Hi Girls, I am getting married at Dreams on April 11th 2011, we now have our room block which i am very happy about! Am now just waiting to hear back from our friends rsvp date is Dec 11th! We are having the wedding at the gazebo followed by the cocktail hour and then planning on having dinner outside and then moving into one of the ballrooms at 9pm for the party, dreams charge a fee p.p for the function to go after 10.30pm which we are happy to pay the problem is the fee is a lot more if we move inside at 9pm rather than 10.30pm. Question is do we just have dinner in the ballroom and not outside or do we just pay the extra fee? Any thoughts? Victoria

Hi Jeanette, Â As far as I know they are only charging me the day rate that they charge for non-hotel guests who are coming ($89). The photographer I am using lives is cabo and had to go and have a meeting with them to be approved to work at the resort! Â Victoria Â

It certainly is if you need any help with vendors let me know i have a great photographer booked (who is very reasonable) and a d.j. Cindy is right about the $75, also if you have guest that dont stay at dreams you have to pay $89 for them to come to dreams. I was going to do the Ultimate package but when we worked out the cost of it against doing it seperately it worked out better for us not to do it as there were a few things included that we didn't want/need. David gave me a room rate which i thought was great but on further investigation i have found that it is possible to get cheaper rates elsewhere. Tammy is great with dreams and is currently working on a contract for me, i would definitely contact her. Â Also send the check and the contract to the address supplied, that also confused me as the address is not in mexico, i live in Australia and just put mine in the post to that address. I am getting married at Dreams in April next year and David is my wedding co-ordinator, he was really quick at responding to my emails before we paid the deposit but since has been a little slow I am still waiting for my room contract that he told me he would email to me a month ago! I have spoken to him on the phone and he seems really nice i think they are all just very busy. If i was you i would send him an email with your concerns and i am sure everything will work out fine! I second the Tequila for the guys, i have decided not to do OOT bags as i live in Australia and already have enough stuff to bring over. There is a costco along the tourist corridor which is great I went in December with my mum to check it out!
