  1. Have you tried Claudia at Floreriarayen? I met her in December 09 and really liked her, she was going to be my florist until i had to change venues from the Sheraton to Dreams and got the florist with the Dreams package (florenta) who i am also very happy with. Claudia's website is www.floreriarayen.com
  2. Congratulations, have you booked your venue yet? I am getting married 3 days before you!
  3. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your planning, this website is amazing, i couldnt have planned my wedding with out the help from all the wonderful ladies on here!
  4. Fantastic review Heather. I have booked Neysa Berman and am really looking forward to working with her. We are also having our reception at Oceana terrace, with the trees lit up, it looks fantastic thanks for posting your pics! We are moving inside to a ballroom after dinner as there is no way our guests will want the party to finish at 10.30pm!
  5. Yes dreams includes open bar untill 10.30pm. If you want your wedding to go later than 10.30pm you can move into a ballroom and continue to party in there with an open bar, they charge a small fee per person for the after party. We are having our dinner at the Oceana terrace and then moving inside to the ballroom where we have D.J Ricardo booked until 1am! There is no way i wnated my Wedding to finish at 10.30pm!
  6. Hi, I don't think that is very fair! I was going to use Suzanne and then i decided she was too expensive especially when she doesn't do yur hair and make up herself. I have now booked Neysa Berman who charges about the same for hair and make up and less for mani/pedi and she comes with a team of girls if needed but does the brides hair and make up herself. Neysa has published work and is a MAC trained make up artist. Have a look at her website, i couldn't be happier with her so far she always replies to my emails with 24 hours. Good luck!
  7. I think Dreams looks amazing and is worth the money!
  8. Hi Girls, Wow lots of great ideas! I am getting married at Dreams Cabo on April 11th 2011. I love the wine stoppers they are a fantastic idea! Victoria

  10. The resort towns in mexico are just as safe as Nassau. Have your wedding where you want to have it.
  11. HI Kimberly, My wedding is at Dreams cabo, I visited cabo in Dec 2009 with my mother and it was very safe, we had no problems at all. My photographer is Gabriel Garcia, who i found to have the best prices, he is lovely and his work is fantastic. My d.j is D.j Ricardo Flowers are florenta as that is who dreams use. We are doing the Dreams of love package but are not using there photographer instead we are swapping that service for a videographer. Remember it is your wedding not your family's and it should be everything you want it to be, your family should be there to support you where ever you decide. I can give you more information in a few months when we are back from our Wedding. Good luck Victoria

  19. I was originally having my wedding at the Sheraton in November last year my mum flew over from Australia to do a site visit with me, we loved the resort and found anne so helpful. My fiance then got made redundant a month later and we had to relocate to Australia so could no longer afford to do our wedding in Nov we moved it to April of this year and Viviana the wedding sales manage up the room rate by $100 per night and would not negotiate even though we were booking 15-20 rooms and all staying for 5 nights minimum so they would have been making a fortune from us. We decided not to have our wedding there because of this fact and the service Viviana and the sheraton (apart form anne) gave us. We are not getting married at Dreams on 11th April 2011 and couldn't be happier with the choice.
  20. Congrats Jess and welcome to the forum! Personally i would get rates from Orbitz, a travel agent and the resort directly and see who comes up with the best rate for you. I am getting married at Dreams on 11th April 2011! This website has been so helpful with the planning! Victoria
  21. Hi I am having my wedding at Dreams in Cabo, we are then going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We have 3 nights in Maui and then go to the four seasons on Lanai for 6 nights. I haven't decided on a hotel in Maui yet any advie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  22. Congrats on your wedding, pleased to hear it all went well! Can't wait to see your photos and reviews!
  23. Have a look at Neysa Berman her work looks great, I am just in the process of booking her.
  24. I think it depends on where you are getting married if your wedding is at Dreams I dont think you need a wedding co-ordinator as they have fantastic ones, I am nearly finished organising everything and have not found it hard at all, even from Australia!
