    The destiny looks gorgeous on you...fits your body like a glove! I think you should just go with the one that you love and feel good in. Your FI is going to love you in any dress you wear ( and won't remember the online one). You don't want to spend the next few months regretting your decision and then being unhappy on your wedding day, it just won't be worth it in the end!

    Does anyone know roughly how much a ceremony and reception costs for about 40 ppl? I've emailed them but they've only told me how much the basic package costs. Still waiting to hear about how much everything else is.

    I'm getting married at the Riu Negril in January. We sent out STD magnets this past January with the date (so people could start to plan for the day and saving money). We just got our pricing quote last week, so we've spent the weekend doing our invitations. Through the Riu we were able to save our date online and once we book our room, then we'll confirm the wedding date on the Riu website. Hope this helps!

    My TA called me with prices today and I'm very happy with them...under $1500 like we wanted and even cheaper for kids! FI are going to do invites this weekend and send them out...guests have 30 days to put down a deposit for the pricing we got!

    i think you should have two separate invites too. i'm sending boarding pass invites for my destination wedding and then something else (TBD) for the at home reception. not sure how you would tie the two themes together otherwise.

    I think it'll be really hot too! The money you save on not having the reception at 4pm, you'll just end up spending on a cocktail hour and champagne toast to entertain your guests. If you have a 4pm ceremony then you can go directly to dinner afterwards.

    We're leaving on the same flight as most of our guests and then just staying a few days together at a different resort after they leave...figure I'll want the alone time after a week with everyone!
