Is anyone considering this place? Had a wedding there? I haven't seen anything on here regarding this site. I am currently booked at a Cancun resort for the wedding but my negative experience has caused me to start looking elsewhere...

Did they make you turn in your letter from the priest before they booked the time? I feel like I am getting inconsistent information every time I ask something. We too want a 4pm wedding (the weekend before you) and I thought once I paid the deposit I would lock in the date and time. Find out afterwards it's supposedly just the date. The time is reserved when we get something (supposedly not 'the letter' of final approval) to the priest in Cancun from our priest. I am a little hesitant on sending out the save the dates /telling guests to start booking since I really want a 4pm wedding. We were thinking of chaning the date by a day or two (maybe) if our date/time mysteriously disappears. Does anyone have suzanna as a wedding coordinator? Does anyone know where the cocktail hours are held? Have pics?

That wedding on the photographers website was LATE NOVEMBER 2009. When I saw the pictures, I did some research about the beach. I guess the government had some problems with the resort and their way of creating/preserving the beach (stealing sand?). I read an article that basically said 1)there were unsolved legal issues with the resort and govt 2) the resort was last on the list for beach rebuilding due to legal issues 3)the resort's owners were being stubborn and 4) the beaches were being rebuilt as of late 2009 but they skipped the Real Resorts (both). So I too am hunting down wedding information. I am planning on a wedding in the Chapel in November 2010. Any info or pictures, especially of details, would be great. I am trying to plan a wedding for 11/2010. I was told a huge packet of info is sent after you give the deposit. I would like the info before I place the deposit. Anyone have this packet/additional info?
