It breaks my heart to read about things like this re: photography. I mean, a messed up cake or something going wrong with guest favours or something is something you can live with. But photos are just such a treasured thing with weddings and when photogs mess around with their clients wedding day or after orders its just really too bad. Thankfully there are lots of good ones for every bad one!

I think I am going to use the clear labels as well. I have seen them on envelopes and they really do look nice and not so obvious that they are printed on a label. Also, it's a good tip to just start a label document and add the addresses as you get them, that way you aren't completely overwhelmed and have to put a ton of addresses in at once. At least this kind of thing works for me. I only have about 24 to address but for people that have lots this would be helpful. If you do want to print right on the envelope, you shouldn't have any real issues if the printer settings are set up properly.

Those are gorgeous!!! And I am not even a fan of heels. I couldn't wear them myself, but props to those that can pull off a 4+ inch heel! And I'm short so I need the height but comfort wins for me! Wow I haven't even thought of seating arrangements! I kinda like the idea of letting people just sit themselves. That would take away a lot of stress. I will end up having a head table with us and our wedding party (that's 6 adults + 3 kids) but the kids will probably shuffle around with the grandparents. As for worrying about the annoying people, I would just let it lie.....it's only dinner!

Oh thats a scary thought...putting so much time, effort and money into the OOT bags and then to have an airline weight restriction veto them! Lucky for me we are paying for our three kids tickets and they will each have a baggage allowance...I imagine I will be packing all of them into one big suitcase and using the extra two for wedding stuff. That might be worth the price of their tickets alone! It is hard to stop buying for the OOT bags because you can find cute stuff all over the place!! But BDW member Echo sent me a PM with a good point...try to find stuff that has some sort of value to the guests other than just cheapy filler stuff! I'm waiting for the $1 old navy flip flop sale and have a few more things to purchase and then I think I will be done!

Those are so sweet! I may be tempted to do something like this for my flower girls! Even though my daughter will only be 2, the crayons will be all over the plane!

Never mind, I ended up scrolling through all the pages in the thread and realized that the OP posted the wrong template on page 1. I believe the correct label is on page 8 or 9! Just wanted to let anyone else know in case they were scratching their heads like I was.

These are super cute, but I think I am either doing something wrong or I don't know what I'm doing! The sticker that comes up in Power Point is not the same as the sticker used by the original poster. Am I just a wing nut or do I have to re-do it just using the stick figures? because even the Too Much Fun one isn't on there...Help!!

I have been on the look out for books like this for around $1 but have only found them at Walmart for $2. I really don't want to double my budget! If anyone sees them at any Canadian locations, for $1 let me know!! They are the very cute welcome books.

Rozlyn was lying through her teeth. When I heard her say that thing about Chris Harrison hitting on the producers wife, I was like "huh" but realized that in New Zealand, that would have been the Jason bachelor season, which was filmed years ago...Divorces and split ups happen in that time, so who knows, the producer might not have still been with his wife when Rozlyn was screwing around with him...She is definately a skank though!

I'm thinking a little differently from everyone else it seems....I think I would rather give them a present of some sorts...Thinking some sort of jewellry and maybe some nice bath and body stuff. I just think cash (albeit very much appreciated) seems a little impersonal. Just my opinion though!

My dress is lace, so hopefully it will be able to stand up to the rigors of a TTD shoot. My FI thinks I'm crazy to even want to do a TTD shoot but I just told him to go with it! If anyone has any tips on caring for lace after the TTD shoot I'm all ears!

Yes the renewal ceremony at the resort we are booking at is significantly less as well. Not that it's all about the money but at the end of the day, the only thing missing from the renewal package is the notary, so I don't really care about that!

All the brides on this board know what they are talking about! I wish all brides could realize that it's about YOU and your FI! Not your mom, dad, grandma, in-laws or anyone else. This is the one day that you can really call your own. My stepbrother is a teacher and can only get away during the most expensive times of year (Christmas and March Break) Well I wasn't going to make myself and all my guests pay a premium for just one person. I told him very nicely that the wedding will be taking place not during those times and him and his wife will be happily able to attend the AHR. If your FSIL can not leave the country, that's her thing. Not yours. Do your wedding your way, especially if you have been dreaming of a DW!!!

Thanks ladies. I went to a dr. appointment today and she said that I can still work out but not at an intense level like this video is! You should all be dr's! lol. I am to stick to my elliptical machine and "low impact" or "pregnancy geared" dvds. It's frustrating to know that I am going to GAIN a bunch of weight before I can actually start LOSING weight though. Ugh. A baby is worth it though!

Yeah I don't think Travel agents really fall into the category of people you tip (ie. Waitresses, hairdressers etc)...I think flowers are a nice idea, referrals and like Tammy said, a great review is a nice way to thank your TA!

Thanks that did help! For some reason I kept trying to change the colour using the other A button (beside the correct one) and it kept just colouring a box around the symbols! Thanks again! This is cute. I wonder if these cards are at Michaels in Canada for .50!
