Very beautiful pictures!! Way to go. I am at a stand still as far as my diet/fitness routine since I'm 33 weeks pregnant, but I am very nervous about getting on a program and losing my baby weight before my wedding. I would love to do a boudoir shoot as well because I know my FI would love the pictures. Depends on if I get back to pre pregnancy size though. Yours look fantastic!

I finally got a photobucket account to post some pics. This is my ring...My poor fiance knew that I had a specific style in mind, so he had me help in the design. And a good thing too because I love it! It was custom made after one I liked from Tiffany (didn't like the Tiffany price tag though! LOL) It is a .75 round diamond.

I did "This Bag Belongs To:..." business cards for my DIY luggage tags. They turned out fantastic!!!

It took a lot of time on the computer, printing shop and then cutting! But they turned out fantastic, better than I could have imagined. I am quite happy that I did not have to make a whole ton like some of you because of the labour intensive cutting!!! I used beautiful (but expensive) cardstock that had a metallic, pearly finish. A little hint, don't waste your time trying to print them on an inkjet printer. They are your wedding invites! Take them to a printing shop and have them printed on a colour laser printer. At Staples, it was only 23.00 including tax and their "rip fee" to print 20 pages. Save your document as a PDF file though and bring it on a cd or USB because the shop might not have the fonts downloaded on their computer. That happened to me and I had to drive back home and re-save them as PDF files and drive back to get them printed! A big thank you to the many templates I looked through found on this site. There is no way I could have done it without them! So THANK YOU! Any questions just ask! I didn't take any photos of the invites in the envelopes, but I used red envelopes to pull together the colour scheme and printed address labels on my computer with the hibiscus flowers on them. I finished with some metallic tropical fish stickers just for fun.

Sara, was there an added fee to use the credit card to pay? I am wondering if it is simplest to just use CUC...

Hi there, anything to help out a fellow Ontario bride! PM me your email address and I will email you the boarding pass invite that I did (using a template I found on here) I tweaked and tweaked and it turned out amazing. Just a note though, I did end up saving it as a PDF file and taking it on a cd into Staples to get them printed on the laser printer. It made a world of difference between the laser and my inkjet at home printer. The printing costs were minimal, only around 50 cents a sheet I think, plus a one time fee of $6.00 to use the document (a Rip fee they called it) It is a Microsoft Word document and I also have a ticket jacket template in Power point.

I've been thinking that we will spend the night before apart...Just seems like it will be exciting to see each other for the first time on the wedding day at the time I walk down the aisle. There will be enough rooms for him to bunk up with one of his buddies I'm sure for the night before!

To the above poster, They wont take Amex because it is a USA affiliated credit card and Cuba does not accept those. Tilly, I would suggest emailing your wedding co-ordinator and asking her how couples usually handle this. There is the option of paying in cash, but there is another option of giving the cash to one of your parents and having them put it on their credit card. Travellers cheques is also an option, though, double check that they take them there! 2 days! you must be suppppper excited!!!!

I really don't think Cuba takes American cash!

I booked Sirenis La Salina as well for the week of Feb.1-8. Our guests are thrilled with the price we got (939 plus taxes) I think anything under 1000 for a destination wedding is a great deal. Glad you had some fun on your trip and you will be back in Cuba, getting married before you know it!

Thanks for the article...But...the thing is, a healthy average 38 year old person would likely not die from pnemonia or an enlarged heart, if they had NOT treated their body like a garbage can with all those drugs. The drugs may not have been the cause of death, but they certainly played a part in his over all health.

We just booked our wedding at SLS and I am very excited! This resort was literally hundreds of dollars less than any of the other places we looked at...and we have a few guests that are pinching their pennies, so I wanted it to be friendly on the wallet. Our group is going from Toronto, Feb.1-8 2011. But FI and I are staying an extra week. I havent yet decided on the beach or gazebo, I suppose I can decide when I get there?

Congrats on booking your wedding. We are also in the process of booking here for Feb. 2011. It does have the best price of all of the ones I have looked at so far! I think partly because it is such a big place and they have lots of rooms to fill. Don't know about other locations besides the beach and gazebo. I am leaning towards the beach. Just curious....what dont you like about the locations?

I saw those awhile back when I was at Dollarama.....I think I am going to go ahead and buy some even though I don't have final numbers yet for my wedding. They are a good deal and you never know how long they will be around at Dollarama! Are you getting the dark brown or light brown ones?

I am absolutely in love with that veil. Tell me though...do you think it would go with my dress? (Google alfred angelo 1816 ivory) It's a little hard to tell since I haven't seen the veil in person! It is a lace dress, so I am thinking the mantilla style might really look nice with it...Not sure if I can swing $70 bucks though, I will have to think about it! It's very beautiful though!

I got the Apple Red satin sashes and am very happy with them. The colour was exactly what I was looking for and they are really going to pop against the white chair covers at the resort! This vendor was very quick with shipping and I'm pleased with everything overall. For 30 chair sashes it came to 37.00 US (with tax and shipping within the US) Can't beat that.

Mission accomplished! I finally found the books I was looking for at $1 a piece...and they were on clearance at Walmart! They were the ones I found originally, only now they are on sale. For anyone on the lookout, I found them at two different walmarts, so i am pretty sure they will be on sale at all of them. They are the baby ones, but they have removeable cardstock covers and backs so you can design your own on cardstock like the original poster did. I bought 20 of them for my OOT bags, hopefully will not need any more! They have pages for 36 photos. I will not be filling them up with pages, I will probably do around 12 and then leave the rest blank for people to put their vacation photos in...

I went to La Serres in the Vaughan Mills Mall and got the cardstock i wanted for my boarding pass invites. It has like a pearl finish and looks very nice and what I was looking for. I haven't printed them yet so I can't give you any idea of how they turned out though! It was expensive though...$40 for two packages.

I am feeling all sorts of movement from this little guy/girl...26 weeks along and went for my U/S hoping to find out the sex and they couldn't tell! Legs were crossed the whole time. I guess a surprise will be nice but I just wanted to get things organized. I have a daughter (nearly 2) and if it is another girl, I am all set for clothes etc. But if it's a boy, I would need to do some serious shopping preferably BEFORE baby! Going in for my glucose test sometime this week so my Dr. told me to "lay off the easter chocolates" so my blood sugar wasnt all outta whack. Good luck to all the TTC out there and pregnant mommies waiting for their bundles to arrive!

I used to like Jesse James. I thought he was a great match for Sandra and liked that he and her were so opposite. But now...ew. What a jerk. She does not deserve this.
