Thanks Ladies! They are all real touch, except for the flower balls for the flower girls! I didn't want to spend a fortune on those, since they are just going to be tossed around by the little girls. The hibiscus does look real eh? I am happy with how they turned out. Now...just have to figure out how to store them for the next 5 months and then pack them!

These are the pics that the florist took of my wedding flowers. They turned out better than I could have hoped! The colours are very tropical which is of course the look that I was going for!

It's not Papryus, because I have that font on my comp....Guess I will just have to mess around with it to figure it out. As for where I got the templates from, I used templates that I found on here and played around until I liked them for me....The templates are here on this thread if you would like to use them.

Can anyone tell me the font that is used on the main titles of this boarding pass? I don't know what the name is and I would love to download it! Gracias!

Ok I realize that I am the one that started this thread but I need help! I am a bit of a computer dork sometimes and my laptop that I made these on got fried! Luckily I have everything backed up on an external harddrive, but the new computer I have is not supporting the fonts. I got the tree and flower font but I don't know what the name is of the other one, the one with the titles (Resort Info, etc...) The default font is rage italic but that is not the right one. Can anyone tell me what font it is so I can download it?

I am in the same boat! My goal is 50lbs by Feb. and I am already down 10. I just had a baby a month ago and am just now back down to my pre-pregnancy weight...breastfeeding is also helping me shed some pounds. I am doing Weight Watchers and doing some light exercise as well (walking or the elliptical machine) We can all do it! One thing I have realized is that I did not put the weight on overnight, so I cant expect it to come off overnight. Good luck!!!

My FI has been married before as well and we have decided to get legally married in Canada before we go. We had heard that to get the divorce decree translated and sent to Cuba costs around $600!!

A lot of girls on the forum are legally getting married in their own countries (Canada for me) and then doing a vow renewal or symbolic ceremony at the resort. That is what I am doing and it is only 200 for the symbolic ceremony where I am getting married, instead of 600. There is no notary involved so thats why it is a cheaper. However it doesn't LOOK any different than an actual wedding...

I am bumping this thread just to see if there are any brides that wrote their own contracts for photographers and their destination wedding? I am wanting to get a contract for me and my photog just to protect us both and to make sure there are no misunderstandings about what is expected. If anyone has one that they are willing to share that would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am wearing #1816 too! It's kind of a funny story. My friend used to own a bridal salon and about five years ago, I wore this dress in one of her fashion shows. I said that if I ever got married, I would want a destination wedding and I would want to wear this dress! I didn't even try on any other dresses, this was the one from the start! (Before I even was with my FI in fact!) LOL. I can't wait to lose my baby weight and try it on again!

We booked from our Travel Agent but the tour company doing it is Nolitours. It is for the beginning of Feb. 2011 and we paid 939 pp plus tax. I think thats a good deal!

We are getting married at Sirenis La Salina in Varadero. We are going with about 9 kids aged from infant to 14. We picked this place for a few reasons but the main one was that it did NOT break the bank!!! It depends on when you are planning to get married and the prices vary from there. Good luck!

Well I have been missing in action for awhile now and the reason is a good one! My FI and I welcomed our second baby girl on July 21, 2010. So the wedding plans have been replaced for the past month or so with baby stuff! Here she is, our new bundle of joy. Delilah Rose . Needless to say, we are very much in LOVE!!!

Are the excursions easy to do with kids? I am specifically thinking of the catamaran cruise...I will have a 9, 5, 2.5 and 7 month old and I am just wondering if it is "kid friendly" or if the younger ones should maybe stay back at the resort with Grandma and Grandpa?
