Kat Von D has a tattoo concealer make up at Sephora....search online for it. I mean, she is COVERED in tattoos, so if she is promoting it, then I'm sure it would work. It is also specifically for tattoos. I have a tattoo on my back and I will not be covering it. It's just not that bigga deal to me! It's just a small tattoo, so it is not something that will be distracting.

Thanks ladies!! As for the hair, I have decided to go with the Jessica Alba style. It looks just perfect! It will look nice with the mantilla veil I am wearing for the ceremony and the birdcage veil I am wearing for the reception. Gosh, it is just coming up so fast, but I am just taking it one day at a time. If a few things don't get put in the OOT bags, it's not the end of the world! Everything will go off without a hitch and I am trying to not stress (too) much about it!

Vistaprint has the business card size magnets (they are sold in packs of 25) and the larger ones (about the size of a 4 x 6 photo, would be perfect for std) Sign up for their email and they are usually available in the free products. There are a few cute templates that are tropical or beachy and you can play with the fonts and change stuff up.

Well ladies, I am a married woman! It does not feel any different to be honest. I think that is because the big countdown to the Destination wedding in Cuba is on and that is what we are really geared up for. The legal ceremony literally lasted less than 10 minutes. It was no fuss, no muss. No kiss the bride, just a cool handshake between us. And best part is that it was only 99 bucks!!

We are trying to not make a big deal out of the "legal wedding"...we are just going to an officiants house, it's a quick signing ceremony where we do the legal stuff and that's it. I did not want to spend a bunch of money on the legal ceremony and this is specifically a package designed for couples who just want to do the legal stuff ahead of time (perfect for destination couples or people who are marrying from another country and want to speed up the sponsorship stuff) Anyway, even though we are not making a big deal out of it, I am still feeling some butterflies! I guess that is normal...LOL. Our trip to Cuba is coming up...Leaving Feb.1!!! Wish me luck tomorrow as I officially become a Mrs!

First off, I am SO sorry that you are going through this so close to your wedding. I am in crunch time with mine as well and I know that if this was happening to me, I would be freaking out. Is there any way that the original vendor will just give you your money back? If so, I would suggest getting your money back and trying to find a local vendor to help you out. The real touch vendor that I used is actually very close to Barrie (under an hour)...My mom lives in Barrie, so I know it well. She had my flowers done and exactly what I envisioned them to be in a hurry and it was well priced. Let me know if you would like her info and you can send her an urgent email! I have pics of my flowers on here somewhere...Again, so sorry you are going through this!! Flowers are a special and important part of the day, so don't settle!!

So we are leaving on Feb. 1st for my wedding. Which gives me just over a month to lose that LAST 20 of the 50 lbs I wanted to lose...Get all my beauty regimen in order (get my hair coloured, mani, pedi, waxing, facial etc) get all my wedding jewellry found and bought AND figure out what kind of hairstyle I want. Trying to do all this with a busy two year old and a 5 month old baby, I just don't know how I am going to do it. Starting to get a ltitle freaked out. Does Canadian Tire still have a registry? I would actually love to register there because they have great sales and also a huge selection of stuff, but I am not sure if they still have one? I searched on their website and could not find anything about a regsitry. I guess Home Outfitters would be a good choice as well...Let me know if any of you have registered at Canadian Tire and where I can find the info on it? I was just informed by my bridesmaids that I have to register THIS WEEK because they are having a shower for me!

Yeah I don't think they would be on the website.....if anyone has a Things Engraved in a mall near them, they would have to go look and see what they have. I bought them at Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket FYI....

We bought some stainless steel water bottles at Things Engraved the other day....They were on sale for $2.50 (from $10) and I asked for an additional discount since I was buying 26. She gave me an extra 10% off. I bought red ones for the girls and blue ones for the guys. They are nice quality too and have the little clip on the lid. Also, wanted to mention that they have some really cute beach theme luggage tags there...I didn't buy any because I already made some, but wanted to let other brides know!

Thanks everyone! We found some wiggle room in the budget, cut a couple thousand from our AHR budget and added it in for photography. We are in talks with a couple professional photgraphers and have an in person meeting scheduled with one of them that I consider to be the one we are most interested in hiring. Photography is number one to both of us and has been since the start, so spending a few grand on bringing a pro and getting exactly what we want is more important than saving some bucks at this point! And Dmitri, a contract WILL be signed!!! Thank you for your advise from a pro photographers perspective!

Nope, she held strong to only giving me 350 and this was just too little in my opinion for a full day of shooting my wedding and then a TTD as well. She also said she was having second thoughts because she had never shot a destination wedding before and was worried that my expectations might have exceeded her abilities. I thanked her for her honesty but long story short, she quit! I am in the process of going through several other photogs and will be happy when we find the right person(s) to shoot our wedding!

Cool. Small world. Well the original bride who wanted the minis did end up buying them, she was out of town for a bit and did not get the messages about me leaving the states. So that has all been shipped to her now. But the updated list of what is available remains the same, if anything interests you on it. I posted another thread about my wedding photographer and I having some issues and in the end, she just decided to quit. I am in a bit of a bind and am looking for any other girls who brought photographers with them for some input or recommendations. If you would prefer to PM me the info that would be fine. Basically our photographer was going to do a full day of wedding shooting and a TTD session in exchange for the cost of our trip. I realize that a lot of photogs charge a fee on top of this but it was not in our budget to do so.... We wanted all of the photos (I had around 1000 images in my mind) on high res. cd so that I could print and do whatever with them afterward. My wedding trip is leaving from Toronto-Varadero, Feb. 1-8th, 2011. We are staying at Sirenis La Salina...I am close to tears as I write this, because I have a vision for my wedding photos and it looks like it might just not happen.... Does ANYONE have any suggestions on someone either that they have used or know that would possibly shoot this wedding for us? Thank you so much in advance.

Hey everyone I need some help on how to handle a situation....I believe there has been some sort of a misunderstanding between my photographer and me. Here is a bit of background. We are paying for our photographers trip to Cuba with us. She is also bringing her Mom, Friend and friends mom. This will be a bit of a "working vacation" for her. She is not a PRO photographer, but an amateur, with an amazing eye and great, beautiful work. However, like I said, she is not a professional and does not do this for a living, more as a hobby. She is currently building her portfolio and has never shot a destination wedding. In the original email I sent her, I clearly stated what my expectations were for a photographer. I said that I wanted to have full day shooting for the day of the wedding as well as a TTD session. I wanted ALL of the shots put in high res format for me to go through and pick out my favourites for printing. I had assumed that she was ok with all of that (not that that is a lot in my opinion) since she said that she wanted to do it! So we hired her, paid the deposit on her trip, her entourage has paid their deposits and that is where it is right now. She also mentioned that she would be interested in finding another bride to shoot for while she was in Cuba that week and through Facebook, I found another bride that is getting married the day before me. I referred the other bride to my photographer and they chatted and the bride hired her to shoot HER wedding as well. She is getting paid $600 for that wedding. (Much less than what I am paying to bring her, which is close to $1200.) The other bride is not paying for any part of her trip, that is all on me, which again, I was fine with that, since that was the original deal. Anyway, fast forward to today. I sent her an email last night just to clarify our expectations. I said that I wanted all of the photos taken from both the wedding and the TTD session, on a USB stick in high res. And now today I get an email back from her saying that she goes through all of the photos herself, picks HER favourites, edits them and puts them on cd for us. She said in total we will get around 350 pics. That is NOT enough for me. When I was researching DW photographers, most offered packages with anywhere from 1500 and more! I am just stunned right now and don't know what to do. I sent her back a message saying that I got her another job which she wouldn't have gotten without me. I also said for her to refer back to my original email which stated that I wanted a copy of all photos from the wedding and TTD. I told her that I would not be happy with her choosing her faves, because hers might not necessarily be mine. I don't know what to do! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Decided to add some pics! I would like to sell this asap because I lugged it down from Canada to the States with me and I would like to ship it to a USA bride FROM here, to avoid the higher postage prices/customs. I really don't wanna lug it back with me, as I have done some shopping and didn't think I was going to be bringing it back. The bride who said she wanted it, has not paid my paypal even though I have sent her a few messages! Anyone have any interest let me know THIS WEEKEND so I can mail it on Monday before I leave. LOL, turned out the font is Papryus....I don't know why it changed fonts on my new computer! Anyway, thank you Ashlee! I got them printed at Staples, but did not have them cut them. I just used an exacto knife and (believe it or not) baby nail clippers for the corners! Worked great! Template is somewhere in this thread. It is a Microsoft Word doc. Good luck!
