Hey- I'm unable to open the document. Would you mind emailing it to me [email protected] Thanks!
  9. Congrats on finding your dress! It's beautiful and you look great in it.
  10. So excited...my save the dates came in today! I got them from weddingpaperdivas.com. They were extremely reasonable with prices and you can order samples for $1 each. FYI - when I ordered a few samples to check them out in person they came with a $10 off coupon.
  11. I just found this thread and would love to find out prices or photographer recommendations. I'm planning on doing this sometime over the summer. Thanks!

Are you working with a TA from BDW?

I explained I have been trying to get ahold of her for the past week via phone and email with no response. I'll let you know if I get any other information. If anyone else is working with Suzanna, apparently she is still there. Suzanna is my WC as well. I haven't had any reason to contact her since the New Year. She has been wonderful to work with so far. Normally she is very responsive. Thank god she is still there! Hopefully they get the s**t together soon.

I would have my guests with kids stay at the Gran Porto Real across the street, but would like the children at the wedding, etc. Some posts say that kids can come to wedding and wedding events, and some say no kids allowed. Does anyone have updated information regarding this question. Thanks!! Children are allowed to attend private wedding events at the Royal. I'm doing the same thing having family and friends with kids stay at the Gran Porto and have them come over to the Royal for the wedding and welcome party.

I knew I wanted a mermaid type fit for the dress but all of the dresses I was seeing in magazines that I thought I liked were much simpler. I never expected to end up with a dress with a lot of beading and detail. I actually wasn't that crazy about it when I saw it on the hanger and wasn't hesitant to try it on. But I am so glad that I did and I couldn't be happier now. The best advice I can offer anyone is try it on not matter what it looks like on the hanger! Almost every dress looks different once it's on.
  19. Thanks ladies for all of your compliments!! I've been smiling since Saturday when I bought it!
  20. I finally found my dress!!! I'm SO EXCITED!! It's not what I expected to get but once I put it on I knew it was the one I didn't want to take it off! It's a David Tutera. The celebrity wedding planner from "My Fair Wedding" on WE. He just launched his own line of bridal gowns. I had an appointment at Bridal Reflections in NYC and he happened to have a trunk show there that weekend. I got to meet him, he was really nice and very honest which I really appreciated. I can't wait for it to come in!!

Hi - I ended up choosing The Royal Playa del Carmen for two reasons. 1. The Royal is right in the center of Playa del Carmen so my guests can easily go where they'd like, the Fairmont would have required taxis to go anywhere. 2. The Royal is an all-inclusive resort so I think I will be more affordable for my guests to travel if they know their food and alcohol are included with their room. The Fairmont looks AMAZING!! If I weren't trying to accommodate a large of group of people I would have choosen that resort. I am definitely planning on vacationing there sometime in the future. Good luck with your planning!
