Technically hurricane season is from June through the end of November, the season usually starts to slow down towards the end of October. It is rare for hurricanes to occur in November but not impossible. If you remember Mexico was affected by a hurricane the first weekend of November last year (2009). I think since your date is towards the end of the month you will be fine. That is why I choose a later November date as well. I did happen to see this article today online and am really hoping that none of us brides will be affected. We actually were very interested in Secrets Maroma but we have our nieces and nephews coming so we needed to choose a kid friendly resort. With the Royal we can have an adults only resort but still have the kids attend. Happy Planning!

But Fernando's work is amazing and who doesn't want to look gorgeous on their big day. I'm just curious why there's a $150 difference between the trial and wedding day. It seems like a big difference to me. I emailed him asking him so I will let you know what he says. To the brides that have already booked or used Fernando. Did he have you deposit money into his sisters Chase account for your deposit? Just want to make sure it's safe.
  9. Thanks NaM! Does anyone know why the big price difference between the trial $180 and wedding day $330?
  10. 1 hour total on the elliptical, 30 minutes weight loss, level 3, 30 minutes hill, level 3.

  12. is anyone having Fernando do hair and make up for anyone other than themselves? I want him to do my 2 bridesmaids as well and I trying to figure out what time to have him arrive at the hotel.

You will get a wedding check list where you choose everything you want and total up all the prices. What do they xray? I thought it was just a blood test.
  14. I bought the earrings and bracelet I'm planning on wearing from Lizardi Bridal on esty. Roxy was AMAZING to work with!! I sent her a picture of my dress and she helped me select jewelry. She custom designed the bracelet for me to match the earrings. Both are swarovski crystals and sterling silver. If you contact her please tell her Karen recommended you.
  15. Does anyone know how they decorate the gazebo for the ceremony? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to pay for extra decorations.
