i think for the outside vendors, you have to book them a room at the MP, so they're just there as a guest of your wedding, who happen to be filming your wedding. if that makes sense?

im using the moon palace one, no idea how good they are, don't overly mind tbh! ha ha!

Hey do you mean the music for the ceremony or for the reception/cocktail hour? my WC said we needed to look for 5 songs for the ceremony, these were: 1. waiting before you arrive 2. bride walking down the aisle 3. signatures 4. song when the minister pronouces you husband and wife 5. walking out if you have an ipod for your cocktail/reception and you're not paying for a DJ package, then it just plays and it's your responsibility. you can have a cheap DJ package which is: package 1 $1495 Four hours DJ, Sound and lights 2 speakers 1 wireless mic 8 LED's lights and consoles Package 2 $995 Full 2 hours, DJ, Sound and lights 2 speakers 1 wireless mic 8 LED's lights and consoles Package 3 $385 Full 4 hours self cd or Ipod music system 1 speaker CD player and mixer Package 4 $220 Full 2 hours self cd or ipod music system 1 speaker cd player and mixer for package 3 and 4 there is no dj, so you have to have a designated person to do it for you. personally, if you're considering 3 or 4 i wouldn't bother! i'd purchase an ipod docking station with speakers, then you can plug that in. it might cost about £150 but you get to take it home with you!!

FutureMrsMolton - have you had more satisfactory service now? do you feel a bit better about it all? i hope they have helped! I have a very random question. I use GHD's over here, but i understand the power in the USA and Mexico is different to it over here (in the UK) so i wondered, do you guys have GHD's over there? or if not, what straighteners do you girls use? i think it might be better for me to invest in some that will work over there!

Ladies are any of you doing a sand ceremony? if so how are you doing it? is it taking place half way through your ceremony? who is doing the reading/vows? where did you get your sand ceremony kit from? sorry 100 questions!

Yeah im from Europe so we're paying more. it worked out a LOT cheaper for us though to get online package deals to the MP, rather than to book direct, but that's just us. for that we forfeited the group incentives (like the free events) unfortunately.

well so far im ok, only have 33 so far (and one of them is under 2) but just in case anyone else books! planning ahead and all that!

yeah that's my guess too. at the moment im not too worried that we're not getting free events (even though we have 86 room nights booked) but if they want to have a private event because we have lots of people, then im going to have to fight my corner. we'll see!

i have a quick question, not sure if anyone will know this. with the packaegs, you get a dinner reservation for up to 35 people. what happens if you have more than 35 people? do we have to pay for a private event?

what have you girls arranged so far? what do you have left to do? my moh dress arrived last week and my flowergirl dresses arrived Friday! it feels so real! i got a letter Saturday telling me my dress has come in too!

If you aren't keen then i think you should definitely look around at other venues. i get married in July 2010 and have had great customer service from my WC and have everything i wanted, given to me. It's sad to hear some people had an awful experience, i hope it gets better for you FutureMsMoulton. x

you want to change from mp to aventura spa? have you paid any deposits or anything? i think you should go with the one yuo really really want, if it's the aventura spa then go for it!
