  1. i love this website, what would we do without it?!?! Mrs D to be those suitcase favours are sooooooooo cute! i love them!! and Vgirl17 i LOVE those shot glasses! i was considering doing personalised shot glasses as my favours (as we're doing a tequilla toast) can i ask how much you paid? i really wanted photoclip holders, with some kind of starfish, but i can't find any. anyone got any suggestions? as for make up, i was going to do it myself. i usually use Laura Mercer so i've made an appointment with SpaceNK to have a trial. But i read on a wedding review the other day about a MAC shop in Riviera Maya and you can pay $50 per person (redeemable on products) to have your make up done there!!! i am trying to find out more, if that's the case i might go on the day of the wedding with my mum and BM to get ours done. That's a bargain!
  2. don't worry, if people have the std's they'll book anyways if they need to. no rush on your invites. i didn't do a 'reply by' date, because i figure people that are coming will book and i'll know about it!

And then there was the packing of it in our luggage...didn't think it was worth the hassle for us. Not really sure on colour of flowers, not too fussed about that tbh...will probably go with the red roses I've seen a few brides go with on here, they look really lovely, and my dress is diamond white so will look gorg with that I think! My colour scheme is orange, but don't want to go with that for our flowers...feel like it might be overkill!lol having orange flowergirl dress, bridesmaid dress, table runners and chair sashes so i'll give it a break on the flowers!lol my flowergirl dress will have a hot pink underskirt so think the flowers will complement that! Just got our favors in the other day, and ordered my bridesmaid present....the beautiful bridesmaid book...so will get started on that when it comes in...other than that, not got a lot left to do i've loved planning the wedding, so much fun! those colours are gorgeous! so lovely and tropical for a destination wedding! gorgeous! my dress is lemon in colour, so i have to really have a think abotu what colour flowers to have. I think i'll have the free bouquet from the package, but i'll purchase yellow buttonholes for the boys and mums and dads and i'll get a lemon bouquet for my bridesmaid. that makes more sense! what are you doing for favours? x
  4. well that's marvelous!! well done! im following slimming world at the mo! i love that there are other UK brides too! doesn't seem so daunting when there's other people travelling as far too! planning is good, although we've just had a bit of a change and now i suddenly need to order a bouquet for me and button holes for 6 people. Im getting a quote from Sarahs Real Touch Flowers and then a quote from the MP for real ones an will go with the cheaper! what colour bouquet should i have? my dress is lemon in colour and my boys are in Navy. my flowergirls are in Ivory

  15. i think your mum is right, i think i feel funny about my dress because i don't feel overly bridal, but the veil might be just what im looking for! you girls are GOD SENDS!!! i'm going to try some! i think you should try and see how you feel too, but your dress is absolutely gorgeous
  16. i LOVE that, really really pretty! it's beautiful! what kind of veil are you having? i wasn't going to have a veil but now you've got me thinking! i was just going to have fresh flowers in my hair. would a cream veil clash with a lemon dress? would i need a lemon birdcage veil?
