Oh its bad isn't it. They told me to put it in writing. Which i will and i'll take it in. Never know they might refund the hoop hire or something. I mean who the hell wants to sow their wedding dress on their wedding day? I think you should complain about the strap. If you had your heart set on it you would have been really upset about it wouldn't you? Ha ha my dress was black after dragging it around the hotel for photos (i didn't wear my heels then either) it was BLACK!! I put it in to be cleaned the next day and they got it all out. It took them two days but it is spotless now and only cost 112pesos so around £7!!!!!!! I put it in today to be steamed so all the creases are out for saturday! I will be sad after saturday! I wont get to wear my dress again! (well i prob will put it on now and again ha ha) x

Hay girls, just checking in quickly! Still not got round to doing a review. I am so sad to be back home! The weather is pants although we had rain in Mexico i would trade being here anyday ha ha.. missing the restaurants, swim up bar, no cleaning, cooking, ironing etc.....back to the bore of everyday life ( our friends are booking Turkey for next May so we may well book that up to, really need something to look forward to! We have our AHR on saturday! Its in a thistle hotel, alot of us have booked rooms so should be a really good day/night! I keep thinking back to our wedding day and i just want to do it all over again!! We had our meal on the beach instead of in the Al a carte we chose cos the WC messed up but it was just beautiful! I laughed through some of my vows which by the way are lovely if your having a legal ceremony! I couldn't get Dan's ring on so he had to push it on himself ha ha! Little things keep coming back to me and making me smile ) Just wanna do it again!! I'm a wanna be bride ha ha!! Hope you are all doing ok x Oh Lisa by the way Gillian Roberts didn't do the last alteration on my dress!!! It still had pins in it so my mum had to sow my wedding dress on the wedding morning! Wasn't best pleased about that! I've phoned today and they said bring it in after the reception and show them!!

There are two buildings with room for the palace. We requested a pool view by our guests months before arrival and all our guests got a lovely room near each other most overlooking the pool and we were miles away overlooking some horrible bush! We checked in at 6pm and didn't get into our room till about 8.30ish after a 30min argument with the supervisor at the front desk. Plus the orginal room we were sent to they gave us the wrong key so we had the long walk back to reception to sort that out. Hubby had asked Victoria for champagne and strawberrys to be in our room on arrival which she promised him and there were none in either room!!! We asked months in advance for the French restaurant for our evening meal which Victoria agreed (we even chose our time and set menu) on arrival at her meeting she told us it was closed that night (a chef convention was on which had been arranged for a year before!!!!!) so after another arguement she upgraded our meal to the Playa Azul. It all worked out lovely but she is a little un organised. We bumped into her one day and she said 'oh i have some more legal forms for you to sign' she hadn't chased us for those so god knows what would of happened if we hadn't bumped into her!!! The outside photographer rule is $300 no other fee. You have to pay this before your wedding day and make sure you give the front desk the details of the photographer coming in. We didn't have any problems with this but we did have to pay before they let her in. Hubby went down and paid this on the morning of the wedding. We had the resort company do our DVD and although the man was lovely we are not happy with the DVD it is very pose and we paid for an extra hour which was not worth the money he hardly edited any of the day. Just glad we have lovely photos to remember. I will upload next week.

Hi girls we're back from our lovely stay at the Palace. We had a horrible check in so i would recommend you email ahead if you want a particular room/building etc. Also be prepared for things to change when you get to resort. Victoria was our WC and she did mess up a little but it all worked out in the end and we had a great stay and wedding there ) just getting over the jetlag )

Aww girls i am so excited for you all that still have your weddings to come. I have holiday and wedding blues!! We have our reception at home on the 18th so at least i get to wear my dress again!!! Just getting over the jetlag. Have had so much on since we came back but now feel like i haven't been away ( I want to do it all over again!! Our wedding coordinator messed up a bit out there though. Our check in was horrible but at the end of the stay we'd had the wedding of our dreams and would definately go back to the BMP. All our guests loved it there and everyone has the holiday blues now!! Didn't see much of MIL from hell as her and hubby's family kept away most of the time - going in the adult pool etc. I think she must have spent about 5hr's in total with her grandaughter whereas my mum and sis were round the same pool as us most days with our friends so it worked out nicely really! She did cause a bit of upset whilst there which i didn't appreciate but hubby has seen what she is like and i am hoping by the AHR she would have tripped well and truely over in his eyes as he has for once backed me up 100%!!!!! Hola Girls!!! MRS PAGE here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha, i've had a quick look through and so much has gone on. Thanx for all the well wishes our day was amazing!! Although we had ups and downs and things didn't all go to plan it all pulled together in the end and had a truely fantastic day!!We are really pleased with our pic's i'll put some up after our reception. Trying to keep myself awake today so i sleep tonight and try and get back into UK time!!! Sooooooo tired though! Can't believe we are home already ( wish i was back there now at our gorgeous pool sipping on a Mojito ( god i have holiday blues already ha ha... I hope Lisa's day went well i see some pix on FB and she looked AMAZING!! As did Nicy and Lyndsey!! God our husbands are lucky ha ha ha ha ha Chat soon girlies, missed you all xx

Lyndsey's name is now Lyndsey Smith. Look on my friends list for her ) Panic over we weighed the dress wrong. FI was looking a lb's not kg's. So it is exactly 5kg. Phhheeeww!!! Lets hope so Josie they are saying this volcano is more powerful than last yr's and rose to double the height within 7 hours. Finger's x'd we're ok to go tuesday! I dont mind being stuck out there but just wanna make sure we DO get there!!!

OMG you poor thing!! How horrible having all that happen just days before Mexico. They say it happens in 3's so hoping you have no more upset before you leave. big hugs xx I collected my dress yest and the box is bursting at the seems, it also weighs twice the weight so 10kg.... just hoping they dont weigh it cos if it goes in the hold not only do i HATE flying but that will worry the life out of me too... we leave in 2 days and i can't sleep... i feel sick. I have NO time to do anything i feel so up in the air. I've had all these months of planning and now its the last bit it all really happens so fast. Everything at the same time.... On a good note. Lyndsey is back. I had a look on her FB pix and her wedding looked amazing. Absolutely beautiful. So congrats MRS and can't wait to read all about your wedding. (may be when i'm home now though).. x

Thank you lovely. We get married at 3pm on the 1st so that's around 9pm here i think... God the bridal shop just rang they have put my dress in the box to be collected tomorrow but it only just went in. She said once the sides went in it was a tight squeeze....eeekkkk she also said it is quite heavy. Just hope they dont weigh it cos i will be gutted if it has to go in the hold. Finger's x'd. Having a bit of a panic over that actually. They tried to reassure me it would be OK but i wont feel settled till i'm on that plane. I'll just have to bring it back in my normal suitcase and put other things in the box :o/

Well girls i now have 4 days till i leave. I can't even take that in as i type. We have the busiest weekend ahead of us to which we could really do without as would rather have time to take it all in and pack etc. No chance!! I am on cloud nine today. Not only is it my last working day (well have a little bit to do tomorrow and monday but not much) but we got a letter in the post stating they are offering 15 more places at the primary school we wanted Scarlett to go to in Sept (she is 4th on the waiting list now) and are we still interested!!!! So i've been and handed in the 'YES' form today. Lucky we got it today as the cut off date was the 26th May and we are away then. I wrote a little note saying if a place is offered to Scarlett we defo want it and we will sign the acceptance form when we arrive home. I just hope that is ok with them. I will be gutted if she gets offered a place and then we miss the deadline cos we are away. Hopefully as i've let them know they will be OK with it. What a nice letter to come home to instead of bills ha ha ) fingers x'd everyone )

OMG char, hope your ok, glad you went and got it looked at you poor thing! Our wedding coordiator has been the same from start to finish so i dont know how common it is for them to change Herbie - I LOVE your jewellery it is gorgeous and your FI looks very dishy in his suit ) x

Oh Char, i know its not funny but that did make me giggle (not the pain bit obviously). I would defo go A&E if you are still in pain. I'm sure whenever you did it they will see you. Best to check you haven't done more damage than you think. May just be a severe sprain and will take a while to heal. Hope your feeling better later. I know what you mean about distraction. I have a pile of paperwork here and i'm on here and FB!!! Its so hard not to have a nose lol

Aw lovely OOT bags Jessica... I am sooooo excited. We leave in 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my hair coloured yesterday. I collect my dress on Saturday, have my eye lashes going on, on sunday and my nails done Monday! Then that's it. I'm off. Our tickets came today i am literally pinching myself ha ha x

amurka you poor thing going through all that stress. How awful for you. It is bad and they definitely should have told you other options. Our travel adviser was Louise but i have spoke to Gemma and they all seem so helpful. You must have been so upset. We had our flights changed but luckily as it was the travel company that pulled out of the deal with monarch we were changed to Thompson (which was a dearer flight) but didn't have to pay any more. So it was a result for us really. I would of been so upset if i were you. So so so glad its all sorted. Not only that but because others are paying out for your wedding/holiday you feel a sense of responsibility dont you. Finger's x'd you wont have any more problems with them hun x

Welcome along Nina. We booked with caribbean warehouse they are great! We booked a company called Adventure for our pics. Our hotel is charging us $300 to have an outside photographer Our tickets came today... OMG so so real now ) When we registerd Scarlett we were told the same thing to go back and re register her when we got married. I suppose it will be nice to have my married name on her birth cert..)
