Nicy - how exciting. And yeh we can be signature geeks together. I'm going from Richards to Page so alot shorter for me and feels weird. Will prob forget and sign Richards all the time ha ha...x The invites we had to post had to be large letter stamp as to bulky for a normal 1st class stamp so yeh it was dear. Thank god we could hand deliver alot of ours too ;o) Lyndsey to post a pic is easy. At the top of the message box you type in should be a tool bar similar to that on a word doc. There is an box with a pic in it that when your hover your mouse over should say insert image. Click on that and then just browse to were you have saved your pictures and double click on then. Then submit and away you go.... look forward to seeing them )

Oh well thats a bonus that shes not staying with you. My MIL lives 5mins away but since we fell out she doesn't bother me so much and just 'pop by' so i suppose i shouldn't complain, lol. I see her at a minimum now. phhheewww!! I'm really hoping i dont have one to many on my hen night and tell her a few home truths...eeekkkk lol... WOW i can't believe they've never met. You got away with that for a long time lol. My mum is also lovely and doesn't really like MIL to much (mostly cos of the problems she causes me) but they are totally different kinds of ppl. My dad has only met my inlaws a handful of times and me and Dan have been together for 9yrs this yr. My dad keeps himself to himself doesn't really go to social events but he has made a comment to my mum that MIL makes him feel like a down and out.. so just proves its not me. The woman thinks she's god and is so patrinising with it!! Fingers x'd Charmaine she wont bother you to much in the 2wks she's over... if she does bring the wedding up just say as little as possible that way what she dont know wont hurt her. If she comes round just make yourself as busy as possible to avoid her getting to you )

Aww so glad you love the church. I bet it is amazing. Although i dont go to church myself the ones i have been in are so beautiful... Oooo i think the drapes and lights sound fab!!! It will make it all fairytale like.. I love the idea and think if you can do it you should. You have time on your hands so maybe look into how much it would cost to do yourself and have a practice or get more quotes, you never know. It will all work out fine in the end ) I for one can't wait to see the pix )

My fiance is going with the same, he's got a lightweight light brown suit out of Next and will wear the jacket and trousers with open coller white shirt. He's decided tonight he's going to get brown shoes to wear with it. Harrison has the same trousers and instead of the jacket he'll wear the waistcoat to the suit. I actually have to make the appointment for Harry's suit to be altered... better do that.. lol

Yes defo order from that site it is lovely ) i'm really pleased with my tiara.. Good for you and dont worry we have all been at that stage when we are upset then angry and then 'over it' i'm glad you are feeling better. Sometimes coming on here and having a vent helps x That is lovely of your SIL to do your cake. I also have family doing my AHR cake and it makes it that little more special and saves some pennies at the same time.. Glad you girls FI's have decided what they are wearing. Sometimes i think the men are worse than the woman, hee hee. I am very pleased and proud of Harry giving me away and i know what you mean, I think my mum will be a blubbering wreak too...ha ha x

Oooo yummy! We can't decide if we want our cocktail hour straight after the ceremony or after the pix. We want to attend it and spend time with our guests (i know alot of couples chose to have more pix taken then but we think we've paid for it we're going lol ) at the mo we're thinking ceremony at 3pm, pix 4 - 5.30 then cocktail hour then evening meal.. only because we have scarlett and think it might be best to get the pix out the way while she's in an ok mood rather than wait for her ratty time of the day (5-6ish)... but we'll see how it goes.. just cant wait to get out there and arrange it all properly with the WC. Zumba again? didn't you go yesterday you gym bunny you!!! lol... i've been shopping today but thats about it. I've got a heat patch on my back and hoping it feels better tomorrow (

Yeh she said she was getting married. She has kids too. Scarlett was doing my head in with the Dsi and she was laughing at ther. Aww what a lovely thing to say although i'm sure they say all the brides look stunning, as it should be ha ha.. My BM who was with me had her foster child with her. Michelle thought he was Laura's i explained that the baby and his sister are in foster care with my BM and she also has two of her own. She nearly started crying.. bless her. She said he's so lovely and its just so sad.. which it is but those kids are lucky they have my BM and her husband. They are great with them. Well girls i picked a lovely dress in TKMAXX for scarlett today bargain at £12.99.. and when i got home the wine glass charms for my hen had come. OMG they are SO cute. I love them. Can't wait to see the girls faces when they come down to dinner ) My BM's are up to something. They've asked me for all the names of the girls coming on the hen (my sister arranged it).. and then said i was on a need to know now basis.. very exciting but so used to doing everything for myself feel so touched they are planning something. Makes me feel a bit more excited about it all, little things going on behind the scenes, how lovely xxx Wonder what they are doing.. ha ha..

As for the shoes, it was the peep toe that was cutting in for me. Always the way with my peep toes so i use sore spots. They are the best thing. Go and get yourself some. I will defo have some on for the wedding day cos mine were hurting yesterday. They go inside the shoe wherever its tight and stops the rubbing. I had a pair on for a wedding last year. Was razor sharp peeps and having sore spots on i wore them all day in comfort with no blisters at the end of the day/night. They are wonderful girls!! Go get some )

Oh so glad it went well for you. My dress is a 10 and a little big on the bust but because of the detailing i'm not having it taken in. It fits perfect on my waist and hips so i'm please with that. The alterations i'm having is the train cut off. Almost all of it infact. They gasped when i said 'cut it off' but once it was pinned they all were amazed how much nicer it looked. See bride knows best. ha ha... My next fitting is 4th April then i'm booked in to collect it on 21st May. To be fair i'm not planning on loosing much more ontop just concentrate on my butt and thunder thighs. Lots of lunges for me. I do hope i lose at least another half a stone before we go in 3months but dont think the dress will need altering anymore. We didn't really discuss it to be honest. She said to me if it needs more adjusting we'll see on 4th April. I'd rather it be a little loose than tight. Especially after a week of AI eating and drinking before the wedding ha ha. Dont worry to much. If they have to alter it they will HAVE to fit you in! A girl called Michelle did my alterations. Really lovely girl )

Thanks for the compliments on the tiara. It really went well with my dress so i was very pleased. Can't wait for my hair trials on saturday i WILL post pix!!!! lol. (i'll just have to delete them off the camera. Yep my son Harrison is 13 nearly 14 when we get married and although he has the teenage attitude at the mo he is really looking forward to giving me away. He's an emotional little sole he'll prob cry, bless him. I think the time between the ceremony and reception etc will fly by. Dont forget you'll have a toast after the actual ceremony and then your pix etc. People can go back to their rooms to freshen up etc. I'm sure it will all work out fine. We haven't got a proper wedding day plan. We know our ceremony time and thats it at the mo. Not even sure what time our meal is as my WC has gone AWOL. But i'm not gonna stress (yet) and just hopefully it will all flow nicely. ) that's the plan anyway lol...

Aww you poor thing. Sorry to hear your dad has passed away (... does your uncle know you wish for him to give you away or was you waiting for him to book before you ask him? Totally understand you being upset. You really do need to know if he is coming or not otherwise you will have to make other arrangements for giving you away. How about your mum? My dad is not coming so my son Harrison is giving me away. Failing that i think i would of asked my mum. You rant away that is what we are here for. We are the bridal support group ) sometimes its easier talking on here than it is to actual family or friends and none of us will judge you! We're all in the same boat and all had some sort of upset so totally understand what you are going through. Chin up hun xxx

OMG kids can be so evil can't they. That boy needs to get over himself and apologise to your son. What a nasty little boy he sounds. Reading that i felt like crying for him. I would stand my ground to. Must be so awkward with them going with you though. I really hope it gets sorted out. Does his mother know about the nasty things on FB. I would tell her and say if it continues you will remove him from your sons friends list. He will give him a complex if he's not careful. God really gets to me. I bet you are so angry! Deep breaths, deep breaths... That is execellent about the wedding village. I wish i had one near me...( we are having our hair trials this saturday (so starting Zumba next sat). My BM's mobile hairdresser is doing them. She is very good at updo's. Its £20 each so will only be £60 for us three, my sister is in America so will have her's when she comes back with her own hairdresser... Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes. The dress is still as amazing as i remembered and putting it on with the shoes (that killed me today by the way) and the tiara etc it all fell into place. No alterations need to the body but i'm having most of the train cut off. But it looks so much better without it so i'm happy about that. One of my BM's and my mum came. BM was beeming she LOVED it. She text me after to say thanx for letting her come and i looked stunning. So sweet of her. Mum took pix on her phone but dont know if i'll be able to upload. Didn't want any on my camera or phone incase FI see them.. Lisa how did your fitting go? I am at home with a terrible back ache. It is killing me i'm sitting with a hot water bottle on it. No exercise for me for a couple of days. Its so sore i could have cried in the shop standing in my dress while they pinned it.. booo you back!!!! DJ question - we're not having one we are just going to go into the piano bar after our evening meal. Sash question - No we prob wont have them at our AHR, can totally see why you would want them though will look more weddingy! Mel - Bloody families ah? You just cant please them. Really annoys me ppl make such a fuss about others weddings. As Nicy has said i wouldn't dream of telling anyone how to have their wedding. Its terrible (

Oh better not ring in sick then hay! lol I'm sure it will be fine if the girls dont swap they are a bit mean as its your wedding day #2. I think all brides should have a AHR just for the one reason of wearing their dress again hee hee, im gonna wear mine at every opportunity ha ha... cleaning, fancy dress, morrisons... yep i'm gonna be the freak bride, they'll all be saying 'here she comes again' lol x I'm friend Donna gave out our tops for the mexico hen yesterday they are so cute. But they are white and pink and VERY similar to what i did for us to travel in. I thought she was doing black ones, but never mind they look great and we'll have fun in them. So nice of her to do it. MIL still hasn't thank'd me or Donna for her top.... WITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! enough said amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Donna's found a Zumba class on a saturday morning so we are gonna go and try it out. Really looking forward to it. For the girls that go, what do you wear and is it hard? lol
