Since we are walking down the beach.. We are going to play the music (without the words) to Jason Mraz, Im yours, I like the 'beachy' sound of it. Our reception will not be until the summer, It is going to be more on the informal side, outside. We will start with Johnny and June by Heidi Newfield -that is our song from day one, Walk the Line- and then later in the evening we are going to Time of our Lives along with the dance.. should be fun, and im sure we will mess it up, but it will be great! Disney sounds like a blast.. its so hard to choose, esp when money is almost always an issue, at least for most im sure. Oh Petoskey is beautiful! I am right there with you on the cold weather and snow, we were able to walk off of the roof on to the snow at times!! But I would not trade the time I lived up there for anything. The people are so friendly and the air is so fresh and clean! I live in southern MI now and its so different! Oh well, would not have met my dream man if I had not moved I was looking at your wedding website, GORGEOUS!!!

Thanks everyone!! I am soo excited! I was married before, yes I am only 26.. but turns out he had a heavy hand, that he very much liked to use. So, as I had said this is very non-traditional, I have been divorced only a little over a year, and it has been a little bit of a nightmare. I went on a few dates.. and Kris ended up being a blind date some friends at work set me up on.. the minute he walked in i fell in love.. he is everything that I never knew existed, and continues to show more everyday. He is afraid to officially get engaged, since the last left him 2 weeks before.. so I have no ring yet (its in hiding lol) and he does not want to tell family until we are close to the wedding. I convinced him last night that it is only fair to give a few months notice, because I have a feeling quite a few will want to come. I cracked, and told a few of my family members yesterday and every one of them want to come. I think he was a little happy that I did, maybe laying down some cement, so he understands that I am not going anywhere.. So now that you know my life story lol.. Thanks again for all the welcomes, and congrats Ladies ) Let the fun begin!

Hi Julie! Congrats to you I stayed at the Riu Bambu in Punta Cana a few years ago. It was very affordable, and you are able to visit all of the other Riu resorts, there are quite a few. Excluding the Palace, unless you stay there of coarse. I booked thru Travel By Jen, and it was a wonderful vacation.. and my inspiration for a destination wedding, seeing a couple get married on the beach, it was absolutely beautiful! My name is Amber, getting married to the most amazing man ever 3-21-10 at Sandals in Jamaica, Dunns River! I was so excited to find this forum, I have been peeking around and have already read some great stories and gotten loads of nice tips. My FI and I are doing things a little non-traditionally, He was engaged before and it ended really badly (poor guy.. or maybe lucky guy We just booked our 'weddingmoon', and have yet to share the news with family and friends.
