Is anyone else getting married in 2011? Have you heard when room rates will be out? My wedding is a little more than 9 months away and my guests still can't get room rates!! My travel agent says she has booked us through the resort but can't give us a final price still... Maybe I should e-mail one of the WC (Suzanna was mine but apparently she doesn't work there anymore)...but maybe they can give me like a time frame..is it weeks or months away...

I plan to put a few extra things in my MOH's OOT compared to my BM's bags...but all of the BM will have extra personalized things that guests won't get.

Hi Ladies! I need advice here....I'm ordering labels to put on the water bottles for the OOT bags...I just need a cute saying to put on them. I don't want to just say "Stay refreshed!" lol Did anyone else do water bottle labels? What did you put on yours?

You can become ordained right online...doesn't cost anything. I have to check with local city hall to verify that they accept this and what the process is for her to do it.

I need some advice ladies!! I know the whole meaning behinde OOT bags is to give as a thank you for coming. I am nervous about traveling with all these bags through Mexico customs. I was thinking of shipping the bags to everyone about a week before(we have a lot of guests that don't live around us) but I'm not sure of a saying to put on the bags...like a thank you for booking and telling them to bring the bag with them. I plan to put a spanish for dummies...puzzle books for the plane...and the normal hand sanatizer and all of that. Our wedding is 1/11/11 so we would be seeing everyone for Christmas before we leave but I thought it would be tacky to give everyone on Christmas... Anyone run into this problem, what did you do?!

I'm in NY--right outside of Albany. As far as I knew there wasn't any issue of them recognizing the marriage. I am getting married here a few days before we leave, without telling anyone. It will just make it easier and cheaper! My issue is I would perfer not to do vows or anything at City Hall..I just want to sign the paperwork and that is it...has anyone come across this...is this a possibility or are you required to do vows and rings?

Hi everyone! I have just spent the past hour playing on this computer trying to create a monogram! My problem is on my computer I only have Mircrosoft works...all the instructions I am finding is for powerpoint or Microsoft word...is there anyway to create one using Mircorsoft works? I sure hope so, and if anyone knows how to do it, I would greatly appreciate any insight on this!!

If you arrive on Sat you should be fine for Tuesday. We are getting married on a Tuesday and were going to fly in on Friday...but due to flight prices we are flying in on Thursday now...so that only leaves us one real day after the wedding because we fly out on the following Thursday...but we'll get home on a Thursday so that gives us plenty of time to get back in to work mode for Monday!

I also will not be wearing a veil....when I tried on my dress the lady put one on my and i was like ok this is ruining it take it off...maybe it was the veil she picked but i hated it! I originally planned not to wear a veil being outside by the ocean with the wind and stuff...not sure how I'll wear my hair yet...depends how long I can grow it in 10 months! : )
