Thanks for all the input on the beach weddings ladies...I think I will stick with the gazebo!! -
We will be doing our AHR one month after we return home. We will most likely rent a hall and have a sit down dinner, about 150 guests. I want to do our first dance, and my father and mines first dance. I'm up in the air about wearing my dress again to the AHR. I do want to me in my dress for pictures for our first dance and all....I could wear it and change after an hour or two...what's everyones take on this? The other problem is that the AHR will be in February so I can't really wear a white sun dress....

Yea I've been looking at light green. I also like light purple with light green. I actually made it the colors in my bathroom because I like to two colors together so much!! But not sure how they'd go for the wedding...guess once i bring the bridesmaids to try them on I'll get a better idea too.

We are getting married January 11, 2011...I'm sending out my save the dates/invites this week. I just sent my deposit today....and I'm hoping the room and package prices come out ASAP so I can start pushing people to book! I'm going in a few weeks to start trying on dresses...I'm going to wait a few months for the bridesmaid dresses...but undecided on colors!

We plan to have an AHR when we return home. About one month after the wedding. We will be having it at like an American legion...the plates are only about $12/ person, so its not totally out of control. We will have the DJ annouce us, we will do our first dance there...I'm unsure if I should wear my dress again at the AHR, because there will be 150 guests there that didn't get to see me on my actual wedding day. Plus for pictures of our first dance and all I would like to be in my dress. Maybe I can wear it for the first 2 hours or something and then change??

As much as we would love to do a site visit, we won't be doing one either. We are being very trustworth of the internet! Just a little scary as you are asking 50 people to come with you and if it's not all that it turns out to be i would feel awful!
