  1. Beautiful pictures! Loved how vibrant the colors were and the sky was soooo blue:)
  2. Thanks so much for the information-I am definitely using Honeyfund! I just needed to know that someone else used it and was happy with it.
  3. liznsergio- That's awesome-thanks so much! I paid the $29 fee and set mine up, but I was worried about the whole paypal/pledge thing. Did more people do paypal or pledge a check/cash? Was it easy for you to keep track of for thank you notes and did you have to send a reminder to anyone? How many items did you register for? I read an article saying to register for 2-3 items per guest/couple. I did multiple items at different prices. We have 68 going and I think I have about 110 items listed. Thanks again:)
  4. Thanks so much! I will definitely check out depositagift. My TA is great but honestly I don't think he could keep up with all the cruise stuff and a registry.
  5. July is never good with the afternoon thunderstorms that pretty much happen daily:) West coast-Clearwater beach/St. Pete Beach may be better if you are looking for a sunset ceremony and they are only 1-1 1/2 hours from Orlando/Kissimmee. May/June are probably better as the hurricane season kicks up at the end of July/August/Sept. Good luck:)
  6. Both Office Max stores near me were sold out and no rain checks Oh well-great deal though!
  7. Hi Ladies, I am looking at both honeymoon registries and would like to know if anyone has used them and were they successful/did your guests respond well to the registry? I have compared both and the only differences I see are that Honeymoon Wishes charges 7% fee + 3% if a credit card is used. They also have customer service agents that can handle phone orders for those who do not like making purchases over the internet. Honeyfund is free or you can pay a one time fee of $29 to upgrade your registry with pictures and the only fees you have to pay are paypal fees if you receive money through paypal. People can pay by credit card immediately or pledge to give you a check or cash at your wedding. They also have reminders that can be sent out for those who pledge money, but I would feel uncomfortable reminding someone to give me a wedding gift:) Pledging money is the only thing I don't like about Honeyfund, but I would like to know if any of you have done this and how did the guest feel about it and how did you feel about it. THANKS!!!
  8. They are sooo cute-please let me know the quality and comfort when you get them:) Thanks!
  9. I have seen them on ebay and oriental trading. Good luck:)
  10. No worries, I am really looking for the green ones anyway. Thanks for all of your help:)
  11. St. Thomas has prettier beaches and more options I think with Carnival or booking through a wedding planner there. Good luck:)
  12. pm'ing you-interested in the orchids if the other deal doesn't go through:)
  13. Haven't heard back from you either. I sent you a private message and you have to log in to BDW and it will pop up and tell you that you have messages. I was interested in seeing pictures of baskets, starfish, BM bouquets and orange flowers and petals. Are the flowers real touch or did you purchase them at Michaels? Thanks:)
  14. Sorry to hear about your job-went through the same thing Pm'ing you.
  15. I will take all of the badge holders or let me know what is left-pm'ing you:)
  16. The Hyatt is beautiful, but we decided to book our own wedding in KW and have the reception back on board. It worked out much cheaper for us-we have more than 50 and the contract Carnival has with the Hyatt required us to have a reception at the Hyatt at a much greater cost. Good luck with your planning, I have lots of info and Carnival documents/upgrades, if you have any questions, let me know:)
  17. That's great, I can't wait to see your pictures! Congratulations and glad everything worked out for you:)
  18. I'm at the end of March and we are going to the Pier House while in port. The topless beach is closed during weddings so I don't have to worry:) We were going to use the Hyatt but we had too many people and they were requiring us to have our reception there, while we were planning a reception back on board the boat.
  19. OMG-so sorry to hear that! I am using ezweddingsinparadise.com. I have looked at many of his pictures and have been happy with them. Good luck!
  20. Thanks:) Looking forward to seeing your pictures!
