Hi! I also stayed at the Dreams Nuevo Vallarta but I didn't find it to be as nice as the Dreams PV and it was really far away from everything (read: expensive cab ride) if you needed or wanted to get out of the resort. The Dreams PV is located really close to the old part of town (where you have all of the restaurants you listed + all of the pretty cobble streets and attractions). So from that aspect you are pretty much in the middle of the action. I don't know really of other hotels on that street that are cheaper than the Dreams - it depends what you are looking for (AI or not) as well but I'm sure there is something. Is there a reason why you want to stay near the Dreams? There are cheaper hotels I think in town or between the town and marina. I did my TTD shoot in Concas Chinas (really close to the Dream) and there were smaller hotels there that could be more affordable - you could look into it.

Our big plan right now is "just" our honeymoon - we are heading out for 2 years around the world! When we come back, we'll have to figure out where we want to live first, and then it will be baby-making time! 1 would be perfect, maybe 2... I'm not sure. Last day at work is this Friday, my BD is tomorrow (I'm turning 30) - yikes!

That really sucks! I remember when I was looking at hotels I came across this and scratched them off my list - if you do online searches you might find older info on this. Maybe if you can prove that they knew all along (i.e. before taking your deposit) you can get more out of it. I swear I heard about this like well over 6 months ago. Good luck finding a new venue, I'm sure that there's something great out there for you!

I decided to walk myself down the isle. It felt better that way. I never brought up the subject, neither did he, before the wedding. We had also not been the closest, so I think he just understood. I never felt that he took it personally or anything. This is your day, do what feels right and makes you happy!

You will see, it will all come together on the big day! It will be magical and special and memorable. It's about the two of you, not the dress or how many people can come. The whole point of this is that you are joining your life to his! Enjoy the rest of your planning, and stay positive!

Amy, seriously you need to submit these photos to RockNRoll Bride. I *loved* the video! If it hadn't been so funny I would have been bawling my eyes out, but Elvis saved me a few times! Congrats again!

I can't think of anything clever either! I'm sure that you'll get good suggestions though. As an aside, I would be hesitant on using the "maybe" option - I would be afraid that people would say "maybe" instead of "no" because it's not as potentially hurtful? Just a thought... you don't want to have to run after even more people!

Diana, I love your TTD pictures! #36 - whoa! There's no way you could tell you were nervous on that one. I don't think that you nervous is the right word... you looked maybe more self-conscious in some of them? I don't know if it makes sense, and I probably only noticed because you mentioned it! There are so many great ones though, you should be happy!
