    With a card. I LOVE cards. And it's something he can keep. You might have to make your own if you can't find a "Hallmark"... Or, do you have a picture of the two of you? Maybe give him a tie... to wear that day Give him a CD with the song you will have playing while you walk down the aisle? Get him some new "walking" shoes? (that would be a humorous way!) Or a pedometer or something?? Guess it depends if you want it to be more humorous or sentimental. Good Luck! =)

    We are getting married at Aventura on June 8th, 2010!!! I am so excited to have another ASP bride on here! I have not been in contact with a wedding coordinator at all... my TA has been doing all the work so far. I should probably think about contacting them soon.... Are you doing the free wedding? That's what we are doing, we only have 15 ppl total. (including our photographers, which are staying for the week) Good luck! I can't wait to see what questions you have! =)

    We are going to have a PhotoBooth. At the bottom of the strip we can put our own little message... probably something simple like "Matt and Kristie, June 2010"

    Rachel - This info is great!!! I need to go back and look at what I all assumed I was getting with the free package! I swore I got a free bouquet for myself and my bridesmaids. Crap!

    I guess I didn't even plan to put anything about the wedding date. My plan is to send Save the Dates with our wedding website that has all the info on both the wedding and the AHR. I'm think the AHR invite will just say "join us for a wedding reception". Good luck! ~ Be sure to post a picture when you get them completed! =)

    For our AHR we are getting a Photo Booth. We get to put a message (Prob our names and the date?) on the bottom of the strip of pictures so I thought that would work great for a "favor"! I hate stupid favors too! Still wondering what I'll do for the wedding in Mexico...

    Our TA did not book us at a "group rate" for this exact reason. She did give us $50 back for each room we booked to help give US a better rate since we were the ones doing all the work. However, by not booking as a group we are able to get our prices matched if the trip drops in price. We all have insurance too, $99 pp, and if for any reason at all someone needs to cancel, they are only out the $99. I think this insurance was part of the matching the dropped prices too. Talk to your TA. Good luck!

    Both! Just change in the middle! =) I think patterns are okay on one person, but not both. Just don't do two solid shirts of the same color! I think that's so boring. For ours we both wore jeans. He wore a white collard shirt with a dark plain sweater over top. I wore skinny jeans, brown boots and a shirt that had a pattern and then a plain brown sweater. I think they looked okay together... but I haven't gotten the pics back yet!! Good Luck!

    We are paying for the photographer and her side kick's trip. (so two photographers!) With this we get.... our engagements session, 8hrs the day of the ceremony, 2hrs of our choice another day (we're TTD!), 4 hrs of coverage AHR, a picture video we can show at the AHR, (one for us, and one for ea. of our parents). All pictures on a copyright release disk. The trip for the two of them is $2800. I think we are getting an AMAZING deal! And on top of it, we have two more FUN people to party with! =)

    I made cards with the words in side "Will you be my Matron/Maid of Honor" and then had some really funky flower vases and flowers for them. It worked 'cus they both said yes! =)

    When some close friends of ours got married, they didn't say their own vows but they did say something... they each said "I knew I loved you when...." They each said three things. It was blended really well with the vows/ceremony. Everyone was crying because it was so sweet. I remember one of the brides was "I knew I loved you when you slept on the waiting room floor when my dad was dieing in the hospital" This idea just might have to be my "Something Borrowed"... I love it. =)
