Hi Girls, I am having my first AHR 2 weeks after the ceremony in Mexico. I would like to show my wedding video along with a slide show for the guests who weren't able to attend. I will also be putting different pictures on each table from the ceremony. So my question is, how long did it take to receive your photos and video from the resort? Also has anyone done a large picture frame with a collage of photos from their wedding, if so can you post pictures? I may try and have people sign the border of the framed collage as a guest book. Curious what you all think, Amy

Every single dance i had in high school was a much music video dance. I am not sure if they still do functions cause that was probably ten years ago haha :S It is worth looking into though. Great idea!

I am wearing a Maggie, it is last years model of the Stella.Ya i know, you can call me outdated But i fell in love with it and knew rite away that it was the one. I ordered the Ivory dress with a gold band around the waist instead of the burgundy in the picture i've posted. I am not a sweaty person, but with the heat in mexico in May i am hoping i will not have sweat marks through the satin. Cross your fingers for me ... My MOH promised she'd be on "sweat patrole" and talked me into getting the dress!

I am not so stressed about the destination wedding, i am stressed about the two AHR's I am planning (my fiance and i are from opposite sides of Canada). It doesn't help that i have been living in Germany for the last six months and will not be going home until April 1st. If i hadn't found this website i would be ridiculously stressed. Have you sold the table runners and chair bows?

I am having one AHR at my parents place by the pool, and the other a month later at my Fiances parents cabin by the water. I am 100% positive i will be wearing my dress at my parents place, but for the reception at my fiances it is less formal and may feel out of place. I know that sounds ridiculous being that it is our wedding reception for people that couldn't make it down to mexico. Reading everyone's comments has made me more excited about having the chance to wear my dress twice. Thanks ladies

Hi Misty, I am also planning two receptions as my fiance and I are getting married in Mexico, yet planning two receptions back home on the opposite sides of Canada. It gets stressful but this website is a great relief! Enjoy!

I am starting to read all the reviews which are unreal and have helped a lot. I am still undecided for a few things such as my reception location and whether or not i will to "OOT bags" for my guests upon arrival. May 19th, 2010. I am not sure if there are any other brides on my day yet. I will arrive on the 16th of may and stay until the 23rd. I am just going with the ultimate wedding package and I think everything will be beautiful without using outside vendors.I will be bringing a few things ... (favors, candles, gift bags for my guests and bridal party) and i am hoping extra luggage won't be too much. My biggest decision rite now is whether or not i should stick to a small bridal party or go big. I am living in Germany and trying to get invitations made in Canada (home) which is taking forever, My wedding is in less than 7 months and I still haven't got invites out :s I hope it won't be too late.

It looks like you haven't decided on a resort yet? I had actually picked the Dreams resort without reading too many reviews. I was a little worried when i noticed some Negative reviews on the internet ... but at the same time there are as many POSITIVE reviews if not more. Hope your planning is going well, Amy

I am a May 19th , 2010 Bride! i'm I'm getting married Tulum at the Dreams resort. Time is flying and i feel like i have done nothing. I am trying to get invitations out however i am in Germany trying to talk with a company from back home (Canada) hopefully sending them out November won't be too late.
