As far as food we had the tortilla soup, mixed green salad, shrimp in puff pastry, surf and turf, and tiramisu. Our guests loved everything. My favorite was probably the shrimp in puff pastry. I didn't care much for the tiramisu. I only asked them to bring out one per table since the wedding cake was our real dessert. I asked Jaci instead of having a dessert (because we'll have a wedding cake) could we have a second appetizer and she said that was fine. She seems really flexible with switching this for that, thus far. I was also wondering about El Patio for a group dinner I was told the only restaurant that they could offer for groups over 15 is the buffet restaurant and you have to get there at opening time to reserve... Has anyone with a group reserved El Patio before? I thought in previous forums searches brides had!
  2. Jaci told me that most brides have the trio play during the cocktail hour. I think that is what we're doing. iPod for ceremony, trio for cocktail hour, iPod for reception. Now I just have to convince the hotel not to charge for the speaker system, I figured other brides did I should be able to! Lol
  3. I really didn't know the difference between the caribbean trio and the mariachi trio. Jaci gave me this link to check out the caribbean trio. YouTube - trio clasicos *
