wuuuussaaa!!!! you've been planing and planing and FI prob hasn't helped or cared about the details up to this point so he's not gonna start now. just concentrate on the fact that you're day is coming and youre GETTING MARRIED YAY!!!!!! take deep breaths and try to enjoy because all of your hard work is about to pay off in a BIG way. and remember that you've done EVERYTHING you could to make the day amazing, so roll with any little glitches so that you can enjoy being a wifey...easier said than done, but don't stress just have fun!! congrats!

we're doing a welcome dinner on wed, rehearsal dinner thurs, and the wedding on fri. we wanted the welcome dinner so that the families could mingle before the wedding. the rehearsal dinner so that we could spend some quality time with just the wedding party. the attendant outing your talking about can be done anytime before or after the wedding. some brides and grooms take their attendants snorkling, scuba diving, golfing, or other excursions. everything is really optional and it really depends on what you guys want to do.

glad to hear everything worked out...funny i saw this today because we're 3 months out and parents still hadn't booked!! they kept waiting for prices to "drop". finally last i told my mom that the resort prices and flight prices were actually going up and if she wanted to save money, she'd better book asap. i ended up coordinating everything with my TA and just getting her cc and signature. it was a mess, but it's finally done, lol!!!

don't know about the quality of the invitations, but i got my brochures from vistaprint and although i LOVE them, they aren't that high quality, imo. i wouldn't want to get invites from there. i got my invitations from invitations by dawn and everyone has commented on how nice they are. the one's we chose ended up being $250 for 75 invitations, rsvps, printed return envelopes for the rsvps, outer envelope (with printed return address), and blank inner envelope. we bought ribbon from michaels to tie them...i LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out!!

dreams cancun has an amazing ocean front gazebo, when i went on our site visit, this is what sold me on the resort!!

i think you should talk to the hostess of the party. i don't want any presents for my bachelorette party, but some are different. it might also be a theme, ie lingerie. I wouldn't want to be the only one to show up with or without a present.

he picked out several different ones and i chose one and paid for it. i wanted it to match mine, but mine has diamonds and he doesnt like them for his band...thank god, lol!!

i was thinking about doing the rose ceremony for the mothers...giving my mom one at the beginning and then FMIL at the end, what do you think??

meagan--hhmmm, what is sugaring?? hockeymom--it's really not as bad as you'd think, the lady should always make you feel comfortable. my lady talks to me about all kinds of crazy things (she's brazilian) and it really distracts me. i get more weirded out going to the gyn, lol!

i know it's hard, but my advise is to definately go with what YOU AND YOUR FI want. trust me, someone will ALWAYS have an issue with some part of the plan. if you go with your plans and stick to your guns, you'll be less stressed and you'll end up with a fantastic wedding, and you'll be surprised when all those people that b*tched about the details, end up having more fun than anyone!! good luck and be strong!

i think you should definately be registered by the time the invites go out. that way when people receive them and start asking your mom or MOH about it, they'll know what direction to point them in. Have fun!!
