ladies....we're all soooo close now!! holy crap can you belive how fast time flies?!? so my rsvps are due aug 1st and i've gotten 5 out of 65...FIVE!!! just check yes or no and put it in the mailbox, how hard can that be,,jeez!!

bumping again, any new ideas ladies? also, my mom is throwing a shower at her friend's house, do i get my mom something and her friend something as well? (i'm getting my mom a gift for the wedding) and my MOH is throwing one as well with the help of the BMs, do i give them all something then, even though i'm planning on giving them gifts the day before the wedding? i can't afford much else don't know what to do?!?

we actually didn't include any info about the AHR on the STDs, invitations, or website because we are only having the AHR specifically for the people we couldn't invite to the wedding; those invited to the wedding won't be invited to the AHR even if they don't come to mexico...i didn't see the point of having a DW and an AHR for everyone b/c it would just cause twice the money. now that it's getting so close, im not sure we'll even do the AHR, i'm stressed enough with the actual wedding!!

don't know if it might be different at your resort, but i've heard from all of the dreams resorts brides and most of them finalize all those details when they get there! it's like an hour long meeting with your WC and you're done i am also a bit of a control freak and at first i got really nervous cause i wasn't hearing from my WC, but i've just let it go now since i know that they do this day in and day out and i'll just finalize everything during our meeting. the only thing that i made sure i had in writing was out date (of course,lol), the time of our wedding, and specific locations for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (ie gazebo, beach, terrace, etc).

i like mexitini too...was actually going to suggests dreamtini for dreams as well. the last name idea is cute...i was thinking about serving "gin and tompkins" since his family L O V E S gin and tonic.

Cecilia's is [email protected]. i've been on the dreams fb page and people had posted something about recent negative reviews; so of course i got on trip advisor and dreams keeps going down in satisfaction rates. i know we all say that you can't please everyone and people who go on there bitch about every little thing, but i'm a little nervous. not for FI and I cause we so low maintenance and its out wedding *yay* so i know we'll have a blast, but i'm getting stressed about my guests, most are coming from Colombia and spending lots of money to get there...i don't want them to be dissappointed had to vent!!

yeah i didnt hear or see anything about it in the states and they usually have some commercials the day before...i have heard that they do it again at the end of the summer...so be on the look out

is there anything she's always said she wanted? my MOH has always wanted something from tiffany's...so i'm gonna get her a necklace, it's sterling silver so not too expensive (by tiffany's standards of course). i'm excited to see her face when she gets the blue box maybe she's into a hobbie or is a thrill seeker?? my FI took me sky diving for my 25th bday and it was awsome!! and for his bday i got him a pass for a bmw racing experience (he loves fast cars and bmws). i think she'd really love something unique that you put some thought into...don't know if this helps...

i would go to sephora or clinique or a place like that and have them do your make-up for a wedding (maybe show them a pic from a magazine). take pics of your make-up trials and that way you can show those to the stylist in Puerto Vallarta. I speak spanish, but i've heard that a lot gets lost in translation, so pics are essential when getting your vision across. do the same with your hair too. since you are used to light make-up, it might seem like they are going too heavy, but remember that you'll be all dressed up and you'll want the make-up to look good in pics, so it's got to be a little heavier than usual...you should look like yourself, natural but polished. good luck

soooo many issues with the post office!!! nicdeb...i was going to have my MOH do the calligraphy, but got scared that they wouldn't be straight, big enought, small enough, etc. so i played around with some fonts and printed them all out using my own home computer and they turned out really nice!
