Carolina, sorry to hear about your computer mishap I saw your pics on Juan Navarro's page...GORGEOUS...the whole thing, perfect. You made a beautiful bride! Some quick Q's: 1. Where did you get your bouquet? 2. Did you tip the WC? Did you get freebies? 3. Why did Cecilia suck? (she's my WC...oh nooo) 4. Did you bring the petals that you scattered on the aisle? The whole wedding was sooo beautiful! Congrats!

I saw Carolina's pics too, it has to be the same one! Her ceremony was gorgeous! http://www.juanphotos.com/blog/ It actually brought me to tears, all the pics with her new hubby shedding tears, it's sooooo sweet! Ahhhh!!! Soooo excited, not till Nov but officially soonish now! Good luck Meldal! Judging by the 2 most recent wedding pics, it's going to be so great!

I'm using Julieta Wedding Events, she's so fantastic! She has the biggest discounts of anybody, great communication, and she is setting up my ceremony, reception, and flowers, and even music. Then my MOH contacted her and was able to set up a bachelorette club hopper night for half the price of anywhere we found on line. She's free and then charges 10% service fee for things where she actually needs to set up (like my ceremony/rececption decor and flowers). That's her only commission. I can't recommend her more highly. http://www.floresjulieta.mex.tl/

Hmmm...so to respond to myself, I just got this off the website: [email protected]

omg...WTF....I just emailed cecilia and got it sent back to me as THIS EMAIL DOES NOT EXIST...wtf!!!! Seriously??? I emailed from my contact list so I know it's right: [email protected] Â Anyone have anything different?

LOL, I did the same thing! Ordered my dress 2 sizes too small...have been working out like mad for the past 3 weeks and lost 5lbs, this is a lot harder than I thought I refuse to pay for alterations though, have about 20lbs to go too, just for my zipper to close! We can do it right? Â I think if the flowers are delivered to the hotel front desk, there is no vendor fee. You could prob also meet her like riiiight outside the hotel and bring them in yourself! I'm over dreams trying to rip me off...everything is waaay expensive. And for the number of weddings they do a year, they have no need to be ripping off brides! Â Alright, gotta get my workout in...and gotta stop eating as much sushi as I do, all that rice cannot be helping. Â Â

I freaked out too, we have about 8 guests who booked with Mexicana vacations. I added a help page on my website, instructions on how to apply for their refund and how to rebook, I thought I would share if it's helpful....took me an hour on the phone and internet to figure out the info: http://www.marielymanny.com/Site/MEXICANA.html  Â

Holy crap, you do have 2 months left, I was thinking that's really soon, then I saw your date, 11-11-10, and I freaked out a little too. I'm 11-13-10! So maybe I'll run into your wedding there!  Ok...I'll try to help you out.  1. Flowers: I'm doing the bridal bouquet with them that's included, for all other flowers, I got an outside florist/WC that has realistic prices (Dreams quoted me $80 for the BM bouquets, this woman quoted me $25). I'm also using her for gazebo decorations and my reception decorations, I just have to pay the $100 outside vendor fee, but her prices make up for that over and over again.  2. Reception centerpieces: Again, most definitely NOT included. Dreams quoted me $180 and Carolina got quoted over $200 PER centerpiece. I'm getting them from the florist/WC for $50 a pop, really pretty high ones too with calla lilis and pink roses. I feel like I'm advertising for her and I swear she's not paying me! lol, she just does an awesome job and is making everything I wanted possible within my budget. She responds to emails the same day too, so I feel a lot more secure. She may still be available for your date since it's not on a weekend, see her website here: http://www.floresjulieta.mex.tl/217534_rental-centerpieces.html  3. Shipping: I thought about that, but heard it's a nightmare. If you do a search on the forum, you will see, most people felt like it was a major nightmare to ship stuff, their things would get confiscated at customs, and you have to pay up to 300% the claimed value to get it back (taxes of course). If anything is labeled made in China, it's not allowed in. I'm doing carry on.  4. Cocktail for dinner: I only got 10 too, haven't heard of anyone getting more than that. The included cake is so small, you could prob get a tray of cookies at most for it. I'd just keep it and have it be extra cake.  5. DJ- I was being careful with this too as it seems like a lot to spend. But then, it's your WEDDING, and even $1000 isn't a lot to spend on your wedding day. The DJ really makes the party, that's what people will be talking about forever, the fun and dancing. If you're really on a budget and absolutely can't, I'd suggest continuing the dance party at the Dreams club or something.  Good luck and congrats on having your dress taken in! lol, wish I could say the same! Think now I'm back to wanting cathedral....haaaa...or at least fingertip I guess. Â Here are some Dreams brides with a veil! It can be done! Â And Chris, yes, I hate that! My grandma told my 2 cousins (15 and 16 years old) that I really wanted them to be my bridesmaids, then I heard they were excited about choosing dresses. I couldn't take it, and had to tell them no! I felt horrible, but I have only 3 BM's because I only wanted my BFF's there with me and no one else, I felt like such an evil person, but really it's grandma who should feel guilty, not me. Same thing with you, don't feel bad, no one should be doing that!

1. Veil: I also started not even wanting a veil, now I'm going crazy for the birdcage veils, then I wanted cathedral, now I want fingertip. How to choose??? I'm not trying to spend more $$$ either, checking out recycledbride.com, some good deals there! Â 2. Omgosh you guys, 4weeks??? That's nothing!!! I'm sooo excited for you!!!! Please take lots of pics and share with us! Â 3. Thanks for the heads up on the new pics Chris...umm...what's up with the gazebo pic (5th pic from left top row). That looks AMAZING...and yet I've never even seen those chairs used EVER on a wedding! Soooo photoshopped. Would it be too much to ask for them to REALLY make it look like that? Gorgeous! My WC also does transfers, she quoted me $12 round trip from airport to hotel in Cancun proper. Guests can also go to her website and sign up on a private link and pay through paypal ahead of time. This worked the best for us...the last thing you want after a long flight is a long sweaty van ride making multiple stops. Â See her website here: http://www.floresjulieta.mex.tl/221083_FUN-PRICE-SERVICES-.html

Yes! For sure send them an invite! In fact, I was arguing the other way around, our wedding is in 3 months and I only wanted to send the invite to those who booked. I figured if they're not going, why spend the $4 each invite is costing me....in the end I compromised. Those that are going get the whole invitation suite, maps, reception details, etc. Those who haven't mentioned anything about going at this point, only get a flat card announcing our invite. Â What I learned though, is that irregardless of if they're going or not, people will be offended if they don't get an invite.

Sure! The florist/WC Julieta's email is: [email protected] Â I can't say enough great things about her! She responds to emails the same day, no matter how many millions of emails I send. Her prices are awesome. I'm getting really tall flowers for each table for $50 each, the resort quoted me $150 each.... she gets good reviews on here too and can basically find and figure out anything your heart desires...she's awesome <3
