Well for us, my husband and I got married when I was 19, he had just turned 20, and he had just completed basic training for the Air Force and I was just a sophomore in college, so we were both essentially broke, so we got married at the courthouse, with just me, him, and the JP for $36. So our vow renewal, which will be on our 7th anniversary, is the wedding we always wanted but couldn't afford when we got married over 6 years ago. So except for the fact that we are already married thus no need for official docs, I'm treating it like a regular weedding. However, I didn't really expect gifts since it is a vow renewal and we are pretty much set, but I have family and friends constantly asking me for a registry, so I thought the honeyfund would be a good idea.
