  3. All the thread I saw use the clear treat bags from Michaels's, fold them over, add the label and staple. Are these the ones you have?
  4. In order to get everything for free, you place separate orders. If you are ordering 20 bags, it's 20 different orders.

I wanted to make sure they had a closure if peeps were putting money in them! Thanks for posting where to get these from!
  6. I went to Sam's Club to buy the individually wrapped medication. It was much cheaper than the drug stores. The dollar store has sanitizer 2/1.00 and sometimes Bath & Body Works has it for $1.00 each. I found mine at a store called Big Lots. It was 3 in one pack for $1.00. Good luck!
  7. Sorry ladies, my internet has been down. I was going through BDW withdrawal! LOL! Congrats Jen! I can't wait to read your review. I hope your day is perfect! It is three different sections, but they are fairly close to each other. Like you this is something i was not told and when my fiance and i saw it we were a little disappointed. April, May, June, and November are their busiest months so during those times you're probably going to run into it. Zulma said they are doing 84 weddings this April. This is so ridiculous! I don't like it and my FI won't either! All The Royal cares about is $. They don't care about us as brides. There policies are dumb as hell! If we didn't have so many people booked... If they are just going to stack the weddings & receptions on top of each other, why do they book times? This really pisses me off! Jesmcan, where is your reception? Are you having it right after the wedding?
  8. Jesmcan, I forgot to tell you...I asked my WC to send me a picture of the hurricane glass and she said they don't have them...only the candles are offered.
  9. Congrats! Welcome to the forum!
  10. Welcome to the forum! Places that have lots of air service from where you are will be cheaper.

The one ceremony that we saw on the beach was in the middle of people, the ceremony was set-up betwen lounge chairs/cabanas. People were on lounge chairs 5 feet away from the cermony, strangers were gathered around the ceremony as if they were apart of the wedding etc. Granted the later the cermony the less crowded the beach will be, the ceremony that I'm referring to was a 4 pm ceremony and the beach was still very crowded. The 3 sections are pretty close. The one section is behind Pelicanos, the other is the middle (where the main walk way is to the beach) and the other is behind the Gazebo. My only concern with that is the music of other receptions is going to interfere with mine. Also the section of beach that you use also varies on the number of people you have having. We were told that Pelicanos was the biggest and that's what we chose, my fiance liked that location the best as well. By having your reception on the beach you are taking a chance of having up to 2 other wedding receptions on the beach with you. Which we were pretty shocked about, so I'm glad we saw it and asked about it. We are choosing to do the ceremony at the gazebo and reception on the beach ( there is no-one on the beach at night therefore it it pretty private), and keeping our fingers crossed that their won't be any other reception on the beach at the same time as ours. Let me know if you have any other questions! I'd be happy to help. I thought they only had one wedding/reception at a time?

    HI

Hi ladies, Here is an update. Thanks for all or your welcome messages. We have switched the wedding to The Royal Playa del Carmen. We have finalized our wedding. I am so happy and love this forum!

I am taking down tissue pomanders that I am purchasing from etsy, 6 for inside the gazebo to be hung by white ribbon and I am doing small ones to hang on the tiffany chairs at the end of each row. I am doing a rose petal aisle at the royals crazy price and doing raffia fans for the programs Thanks! So tissue pomanders do you need for the gazebo? Do your chairs won't be covered-they'll just have the pom at the end? I'm really glad you posted this b/c I hadn't thought much about the gazebo decorations.
  17. Thanks for the pics Jesmcan! Does anyone know what the "basic" gazebo decoration looks like? Is anyone taking any fabric, decorations (paper lanterns, etc.) with them to decorate?
  18. I JUST finished ours and I LOVE IT! It took me HOURS! I haven't even shown the FI yet! I'm so logo happy that I may make another!
