  1. I love your invites! Planning threads are always so wonderful to read! Thanks for posting! Look forward to reading your review. Congrats soon to be Mrs. :-)
  2. Go to tinypic.com. Upload your pic. Then copy the forum code. Paste it into your message. This should work!
  3. Hi Jenn! Congrats and welcome to the forum. I am getting married at The Royal PDC in 5 months! Check out this thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo.../index143.html. I have found it SUPER helpful. I recommend that you grab a glass of wine and read it from beginning to end over a couple of days. Be sure to take notes-I wish I did instead of just reading it. Happy planning!
  4. HAHAHA!!! I started a thread like this a couple of months ago because this forum has TRULY been addictive for me!

I just got access to the online site TODAY. I have been raising hell with corporate. I was able to get Zulma as my new WC. Hopefully, that will work out. There is NO info. listed on the site about our wedding. I remember someone saying that theirs had the date listed. I am really hoping that everything turns out well, but have to admit that I am SOOO disappointed in their lack of communication/organization. Hopefully, it will get better for future brides! I told him I was glad that it worked out for them, but my man and I had a plan that was going to work for us, LOL! He backed off then. I'm keeping my name because professionally, I'm known by it and because my natural father, paternal grandmother and paternal grandfather are deceased and it makes me feel close to them. 6. Hi Meghan! Congrats and welcome to the forum. I'm at the Royal (next door)as well! Be sure to check out the Riviera Maya thread!
  7. Here's a link to where the templates are: Invitations, STDs, photos & website - Best Destination Wedding Forum ~ The Ultimate Destination Wedding Resource . Just an FYI-you won't be able to download any templates until you have made at least 150 posts. This is designed to encourage participation amongst forum members. Hope this helps!
  8. Hi Ladies, I am uploading pics of our key cards so you don't have to click on the attachment. Sorry, but I didn't know how to merge it with the first post. I matched the belt clip with the wrist coil (yellow with yellow, green with green, etc.) as you'll see on the pic. As I stated in the first post, we are using lanyards, belt clips and wristcoils so guests will have their choice of which they want to use. Obviously, they will remove the two they decide not to use or can swap depending on their mood. Hope this helps!
  9. Thanks Ms. Simone, I had been thinking about that, but just wasn't sure if I was going to go that way because I wear my hair like that almost everyday and wanted something different. Mischaka, I tried contacting that place. I got an email that my message was forwarded, but they never got back to me. I found a lady who has over 20 years experience. However, she is freelance and my resort charges a $350 vendor's fee :-(
  10. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...holders-60637/ Hi All, I've taken enough from this forum so now it's time for me to start giving back. I am attaching the template for our key card holders. I hope it's helpful to someone. This is how I made them: 1.) I borrowed (downloaded) a template that someone had posted on here (Sorry but I don't remember who). I think raslin? 2.)I changed the word (from Jamaica) to one of our engagement photos. 3.) I tweaked the colors to fit us. 4.) I printed them out on a colored laser printer on white cardstock from Walmart. It was about $6.00 for a ream. 5.) I glued the cardstock to construction paper to help become even more sturdy. 6.) I cut the lines with a paper cutter. 7.) Then I inserted each cutout into a waterproof plastic pouch that I bought off ebay from gcishoponline. The cost was $5.99 for 50 plus $5.00 for shipping. Total was $10.99. 8.) We purchased lanyards from the same ebay seller. The cost was $12.99 for 50 with free shipping. We also purchased wristband/coil key chains and beltclip key chains because we wanted our guests to have a choice. The costs for them was supercheap--$2.99 for 12 coils and $2.99 for 50 beltclips on Oriental Trading. I also ordered 200 lanyard snaps fro $2.99 from Oriental Trading so it would be easier to put the pouches on the wrist coils. This is enough material to make 50 keycard holders for less than $1.00 each. I have attached the template. I'm sorry I couldn't attach a pic but someone stole my digital camera and I have yet to buy another one. 11. Gujarwala and Alex, welcome! @ Gujarwala, That's awesome, my FI was using wedding acronyms the other day. I was sooo impressed. Alex. you may want to search the Riviera Maya thread for this info.
  12. That truly sucks! If they don't find your paperwork by your one year anniversary, maybe you can celebrate by "renewing" your vows here at home on the same date. That way, you will have legal paperwork and the same date. You and hubby can plan a romantic weekend, at home or away (Vegas, Hilton Head, Niagara Falls) and do it there. You know that your marriage is not a farce and that's what counts! What do you think?
  13. I actually got those pens for the OOT bags. The quality is o.k., but I'm not sure if I would use it as THE pen for signing wedding stuff.
  14. Hi Sarah! Welcome! Better late than never! Check out the Riviera Maya Forum for more info. on photographers. Good luck!
  15. Hi Josie. Luggage tags are original. I like it. The outside is cute but can't tell what the inside looks like.
  16. Thanks for the suggestion Jes! They goofed on my time as well. It really is ridiculous that they are not more organized!
