Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of looking in the Mississauga area so I will steer clear of this place and definitely check out Jealous Bridesmaids- I've heard good things from other people about that place too.

We're doing both the two of us wedding (legal) AND the mid-size destination. My FI is really into the idea of eloping and since we already decided not to have a legal ceremony in Mexico, we decided to do a destination elopement on a Mountain top in Colorado. The pics will be a stark contrast to the beach ones from Mexico. I'm really excited about the whole thing! I'm not sure if I'll be wearing a full wedding gown for the elopement, maybe I'll try to find a BM dress in ivory to simplify things!

NaM i really like your idea of different dresses for the BM's (they look fantastic in your pics). But how did you coordinate their look? Did you choose a fabric and/or designer? Or did they have free reign?

I am also looking for inexpensive BM dresses because I offered to pay for them! We haven't picked anything yet but Netbride has really good prices- for example you can get the Alfred Sung and After Six lines for around $100. While there are shipping charges, you can get all sent to the same address to reduce them. So far their customer service has been excellent. Good luck!

Hey Guys, My TA called me in a panic about someone who wrote her a letter telling her not to send her guests to the Riu Vallarta for weddings. I must say this was pretty concerning but it seems to me that the letter writer was really concerned with watered down drinks at the beach bar (and faded liquor bottles) and security being in a guest room? She said that the wedding itself was perfect, that the staff were wonderful and the place was gorgeous. Personally- I don't really see the big deal. Should I be concerned about this? Has anyone heard anything similar? I'd love to hear from brides who got married there recently. Thanks in advance!

Weddingfavours.ca has various fans. I'm not sure if they have what you are looking for, but their shipping is fast, reasonably priced and, since they are based in Ontario, there is no surprise customs fees. Good luck

Weddingfavours.ca has them if you can't find them in the city. A bit pricey maybe, but they are based in Canada so at least the shipping costs are under control and there is no duty.

I emailed Landy, Duosh and gianinarbridal, duosheng and all can do the dress I want (Paloma Blanca 3854) for similar price points. Does anyone have any thoughts on the best one for the job. They have all been really responsive and had good customer service- so I'm stuck! Thanks guys!

I was looking at Maggie Sottero's Karena Royale and was thinking of cutting. So I'm biased, but I like the cut look a lot! Since it is an indoor wedding, I don't feel quite as strongly, but still say CUT!

I'll take the clutch if not already sold.
