hey there! congrats and welcome i chose cancun because it's beautiful, cheap and it's like vegas meets hawaii meets south beach! once you choose your location get a list of ALL the resorts/hotels (through expedia or something) and just create a list of pros and cons for each one by reading up on reviews from here or travelocity. after that...things will slowly but surely fall into place!

i'm spending $2800 and i orginally wasn't going to spend that much on a photographer. but it's really the only thing i'm splurging on and will be worth it since the pics will last a lifetime!
