  1. Thanks so much Jennifer for the info. Just wondering... I heard there will be an al la carte flower book. Did you here anything about that? Can you upgrade the free package?
  2. I'm doing the reggae band for an hr, ceremony,cocktails and then a DJ for the other 2.

  4. Yes Amber did say they will comp the $15 half hr reception and put that towards the 3hr seated dinner so it ends up being $60.
  5. I agree for 75per person tables and chairs should be included! Another new"change" to the previous info I was given.
  6. I'm still hoping on the a la carte and using the ceremony flowers and some extras for the tables. If we do get one of the packages I would hope to do the same, and use the one "decorated" table as the sweet heart table and just rearranging a bit. I just can't see paying $600 per table.
  7. Were going to Negril Jamaica and I found a really good one on Trip Advisor. I heard $100 for half a day . Not bad considering the resort's is 150$
  8. I've been happy that alot of the reviews lately for Sandals-Beaches have been really good. Although.... I have just about had it with there changing of everything!!! If they think I'm putting 1200 dollars down before I see anything THEY ARE CRAZY!!! Now I understand prepaying for the reception,DJ and hair but that is it!!

  10. Congrats again! I have a couple of questions... Did you have a rehersal dinner? If so how was it? Wanted to do it on the beach is that possible? I keep hearing about the biting fleas was that a problem? Did you go with your own flowers or the Martha Stewart? Is there any way to see your video with the guitarist it sounds beuatiful! I'm debating over the 2hr dinner and adding an hr for dancing or doing the 3hr. Where did your wedding and reception take place? Sorry so many questions,would love to here your thoughts,thanks.

  13. I'm doing OOT bags.Were doing one per room plus a kids bag for the few that are coming. So at the most maybe 15 bags. Koozies, aloe, some first aid items, maybe a deck of cards or puzzle book(for on the beach),something edible and Appleton rum that I'm getting at the airport. I agree though 50 or 60 guest is alot! We went to a DW last year on a cruise. I even did her hair for free(I'm a hairstylist) and hardly got a thank you. Not that I expected her to do alot, but even just a little thanku note, bottle of wine etc, would have been nice. It still bothers me a little! I just want the people who are coming to know how much it means to us that they've taken the time and expense to be with us for are wedding.

  15. Hi everyone! Were getting married May 8th, 1:00pm at Beaches Negril. Just booked are trip at the end of Sept. So far there are 23 guest coming. I'm so excited and want it to be here, but also know how fast it will all fly by once were there. Just trying to enjoy the planning. Congrats to everyone else!

  19. Hi everyone! I spoke to Amber about a week ago about these different packages. If I prepay my flowers before Nov 30th I can have other options beside the Martha Stewart. I like the MS but feel a little pushed into it and the one I like is crazy expensive. She did say there will be extra al la carte items and she will know after Dec. MS collections are copyrighted so nothing can be changed or added except MS items. She did say since we were having the 2 hr rec. and adding an hr it would be a better deal to get the 3hr they will comp me $15 from the free reception(10 or more rooms booked) and the total cost would be $60. Cheaper then doing the 2hr and adding an hr. Now I was told I could have a soloist steel drum player for $300(1hr) and that is not an option now has to be the band for $600. I know it's going to be beuatiful but all these unknowns are making me craaazy!!

  21. Hello! Just spoke to Amber and she said as long as you put the money down before Nov 30th you can pick another bouquet. She sent me pictures and I was not impressed and the prices were crazy. She did say eventually you will be able to add to the "free package". I've heard of girls just bringing pics and getting what they wanted. Although after the 30th the Martha Stewart collections are copyrighted, and they claim nothing can be changed, added or shared.
