You're lucky you live in the States, I don't think Prilosec is over-the-counter in Canada yet, but I'm not totally sure so it looks like I have some research ahead of me!! Paper insert travel mugs?

Here's the link to discount mugs so you can check them out, there are 2 different styles, one with a handle and one without and I think they are the same price, you can just buy the unprinted blank version to make it cheaper and then print whatever you want on it, plus they are offering free shipping to the continental US right now!: No Handle: Paper Insert Travel Mugs, Travel Mugs, Photo Travel Tumblers, Full color Travel Mugs Handle: http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/trave...ith-handle.htm -

Paper insert travel mugs?
SuzyQ76 replied to bholthof's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Ok I just did these up quick today so I still have to tweak them! Here are a couple of ideas: http://s783.photobucket.com/albums/y...view=slideshow Hope this works I still have problems with pics...and multi quoting for that matter!! lol The circles in the bottom pic is the saying "Fill it up, Please" in all the different languages of our attending guests, BUT...I don't trust the translating tool I used online, so I'm probably going to nix that idea!! The design in the cup is the "Eat Drink and be Married" version ) I'm probably going to print them on a lot better quality paper and then laminate...possibly colored paper, like cardstock or scrapbook paper but I'll have to see how the colors of the logo print on colored paper.... -

Well I know at our resort if you want to have your dinner in an a la carte restaurant there is a 40 person maximum, and when you go over that max you are forced to do a private dinner...that adds HUGE bucks to the budget, so I can totally understand the freaking out - except I think her max is 80 but she may reach over that! I know I'm freaking over my situation, which is almost the same but on a smaller scale ;o) We invited 100 are at the 35 mark and have that 40 person max in the restaurant - I didn't budget for a private dinner/reception...so it sucks, and I still don't know what I'm going to do...In my defense the 40 person max was a "Surprise" that was not really mentioned until I found out other gals were having a problem! Quietly, to myself, I'm praying and crossing my fingers and toes that we won't go over, but there are still a bunch of people who say they're coming but haven't booked!! Ugh, I don't even want to think about it until I have to! lol

My mom is a fancy shmancy person. I've told her countless times she'll stick out from the crowd but she doesnt care. I'll have go give it another go and if I have no luck then I'm just gonna give up lol. I hope you feel better and are taking care of yourself Suzy! She's going to look Fab in whatever she chooses, if that's what she wants you might as well just go with it!! Like I said before both dresses are amazing! Ugh, all these great ideas were found after the fact I mailed everything!! I wish I would have thought to put that on my RSVP's, I should have joined this forum sooner!! I will be feeling better soon, tonight not so much! It was a friend's going away dinner this evening and it was at an Ethiopian restaurant - which I've had before but not in years! Forgot how spicy it is!! lol, oh I take that back I'm not laughing now! I'm sure the Doc will fix me up next week, it will be nice to ENJOY a glass of wine! ) Mmmmmm can't wait! No more Ethiopian food for me for a while - it was soooooooooo good though, almost, just almost worth the pain! ) Thanks for all the concern ladies!! I'm just over-due on my maintenance is all!

Sorry I didn't even think you only need 15, I'm almost finished my design for my paper insert mugs so I'll attach that when I'm finished it, just need about another hour or so!! lol And I keep forgetting about that damn set up fee, if you do get a big group order at least you can spread the cost around. and/or you can get clear labels you can get at Walmart or Staples (Canada) or any office supply store and even online if you want to do that! -

I also hope your taking meds for it, because it can become an even bigger problem. We all really want you to be at your wedding, healthy, glowing.. and not in pain or ill where you can't eat, or even enjoy an alcohol drink! ok I can go back to wedding talk lol! Yes Mam!!!! I know it's just a pain in the a$$ going to the doctor for myself! It seems something else always comes up and I always get sidetracked. I promise to make my appoint. as soon as I get off this forum!! It's painful and it's annoying, I want to be able to eat and drink whatever I want!! I'm not used to having limitations! lol The only meds I'm taking right now are all ever the counter, I'm just kind of maintaining it...I am buying the strongest of everything though! I'll call the Doc right now ) I promise! Ok just got off the phone with the Doc office and I' booked in for next Fri, Oct 30!! Let the healing begin a week from today! Something like that might help enough to let your stomach heal itself - which is the route i had to go, and it can take a good few months too. And after that it's just good old moderation to follow. And the pills in your back pocket just in case. I also had to see a gastro doctor. If you're having serious problems though it's prob. worth a trip to the doctors so you can enjoy your trip! 4) Is your little tiger feeling better these days? Maybe we could get out to the mall next week one evening... YAY!!!! MAll Trip!!! lol I do need to breath, typical me though - if I can obsess over something I will!! lol I do have to get to the doctor, I know I need to just get checked and then concentrate on getting healed! It's not like I drink massive quantities of alcohol!! lol First off, after having a baby and not drinking your entire pregnancy or while nursing you have no tolerance - 1 beer or glass of wine and I'm good to go! But if I want to have that beer or wine I want to make sure it's safe to drink. Our little tiger is feeling better, still a little runny but he's definitely back to normal energy capacity!! My BIG tiger on the other hand....well he is now sick and I tell ya, I'd rather a sick little baby than a Big Sick Baby!!! lol check out this link if you want a BIG laugh - because this is EXACTLY what I'm dealing with minus the British accent!! I do love a good British accent though....hehe! I hope the link works because this is possibly one of the funniest and most True things I've ever seen!! lol Laughing just thinking about it! They do seem a little expensive... Patti if you like those colors Discountmugs.com does have a TON of selection you just have to go through the different styles to see what colors are offered, here is the one I was thinking about: they have it in purple and pink, but I was thinking about the blue if I do order anything.... Custom Travel Mug, Custom Travel Mugs, Travel Mugs These start at $3.39 printed for 25 or more and they get cheaper the more you order but I think they have to be all the same color! Like I said there is tons of selection and free shipping right now so it'll save you big bucks if you find a style/color you like! -

Basically I know that FI's family especially will want to have a dinner or whatever that doesn't involve all of our friends (they seem to think we're over-accommodating for our friends as it is..grrr) so I figured that we could go to dinner the evening before our wedding and just make sure they're all up to speed on our plans for the following day and whatnot. FI's family will get very frustrated if they don't feel as though they have some schedule to work by, seeing as we'll likely be too preoccupied to help them out the day of the wedding. Honestly, neither of our families really have any involvement in our plans or execution. Not that we're trying to be cruel in this aspect, we're just both so independent as it is. The dividing factor, however, is that MY family is okay with this and HIS family feels like we're trying to screw them over. So yes, I'm trying to be the "Good new DIL" that is marrying their son and wants to be part of their big happy family by arranging a lovely family dinner (Please tell me you can read the attitude dripping off that last comment!!!). HAHA, so i suppose that's my drawn out way of saying that YES we will just be going to one of the a la carte restaurants for this because I don't want to be paying for something that I'm doing just to "make nice" and satisfy everyone else. That aside, we're going to try and arrange a time for welcome drinks with our entire group although I have to work out the details on that still. Funny enough, the flight that FI and some of our group arrives on is the latest in the day from any other flight so when we get to the resort, a number of other guests will already be settled in and waiting for us. Normally that wouldn't be a problem except that FI's grandparents are included in the early-arrival group and wouldn't likely feel too appreciative of a 10pm Welcome Party!! Although I plan on starting my night as soon as my feet are inside the resort!! Again.... details.... We are doing the same, and I cant seem to iron out any details other than the fact that I have to choose a place and time and hopefully it'll work out when we get there because I want to print a "schedule" on our brochure... All our peeps are arriving at separate times and out of many different gateways so I actually am planning on doing the big meet and greet pretty late too...maybe even the next day like a breakfast or brunch. I don't know how it's going to work all I do know is that it's all making my head spin and I wish we hadn't told anyone and just gone and "get it done"!! lol But....it'd kill our family so here I am stressing about welcome cocktails and keeping everyone happy! My only saving grace is the fact that we had 75 adults and 15 kids at our son's 1st birthday and we'll only have 50 adults and 8 kids at the wedding so it should be manageable! And for those of you thinking we're totally nuts and went way overboard for a birthday You are totally right! lol, but we are living 5000 kms away from family and friends, so it was also a way to see everyone in one big party, and it was his 1st Birthday and he's the first Grandchild on FI's side and our little miracle! What's even worse then trying to figure out meet & greet crap is since February I've been dreaming of drinking tequila on the beach and all this planning stress has caused me a stomach ulcer! (well that's what I'm blaming it on anyway!) Any sip of alcohol creates immense pain so now I have to get this cleared up ASAP just so I can drink my face off!! lol Priorities right! But hey, I don't get out much especially with a kid and no family to babysit!! So not only do I have to get toned I have to heal my insides too!!! Which is even causing me MORE stress!! lol

I've never heard of them, well I know there's like waterproof match holders for camping and stuff - so I've heard of something like them! But I think they're a great idea for OOT Bags!! A lot of gals are doing the resealable plastic holders for a tip/key card holder so I'm assuming it's supposed to be similar in theory, these are really economical so if you want to check them out go to the DIY part of the forum and there are lots of examples. Good luck!! You could probably get something at a camping/hiking store too, I'd check around for prices! and there's always ebay for a good deal! Check out this thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ot-bags-42057/ Might give you some alternate choices if you want to save $$'s - they are like little strong plastic ziplock pouches - so I'm hoping they're waterproof!!

I'm not too sure what to do music wise before/during/after the ceremony. How many songs do you think I'll need? It's only a symbolic ceremony so I'm not even sure how that all works and when I'd need music for. You still have a year so you're good for time!! You could possibly do 3 songs if you wanted, one for you and your dad walking down the isle, one for the document signing - even though you're only doing a symbolic ceremony there is still some stuff to sign, I know lot's of people who only did a symbolic and they still have pics of them signing stuff with their witnesses...then you can do a 3rd song for the recessional when you're walking away as husband and wife!! I haven't really thought too hard on music yet...so I don't even know how much is normal!! lol I only thought I needed one song until I read this thread!! Good luck there are lots of good ideas for music, I took one whole day on you tube just trying to narrow a bit down!! I didn't get very far! -
