  1. I really dont understand, shouldnt there be a set of rules for what they charge for and what they dont?? i keep hearing about all of these extra charges and things promised and then taken back. I was really hoping to do the mix of the 3 buffets since I also read on here a few times of brides doing that and now thats not allowed??? and i bet once you get there they will change the story again and say yes but why cant they just do that now! Good Luck, i hope everything works out when you get there! You can go an hour longer on El Patio? do you still have to pay pp to extend it? how long can your reception be in el patio and how long does it have to be outside on the beach or pool deck (which is what i have reserved)? I didnt even know El Patio was an option. Im not sure about the weather there right now but is your reception going to be later, around sunset? then i might stick with the beach since it will be cooler at that time and you might not really need the air conditioner. I think if you originally wanted the beach and you can have it now then go for it! Do you have an pics of el patio set up for a reception?
  2. Gabriele sent me pics of the centerpieces and bouquets. Wanted to share with you ladies. centerpieces.pdf bouquets.pdf

  5. Thanks so much for sharing. I really wanted to do these on my own but when i started playing around with Aylee's free template i got a little discouraged and had almost made up my mind to pay someone for the invites. I'm so happy you posted, it gave me hope that i can do this on my own. unfortunately i don't have photoshop but I'm going to try it on Word or PP. Gonna start this weekend!
  6. people should say more often : Thank You!
  7. I'm about 6 months out from my wedding and i would really like to makes sure i have my budget set...don't want to get to dreams and be off by 1000's but as everyone knows it's so hard to get answers from the WC's. The DJ that DRC uses is Doremixx, right? do i have to make sure i book him ahead of time on my own or with the WC do that and the cost is $300 per hour? Past brides or even current brides planning right now is it true you can sort of negotiate prices for some things. and does anyone know if i wanted different chairs for the reception (the chairs that are in the photo of the gazebo ceremony set up) is that extra per chair. for the brides that used EW or Deco Cancun is it cheaper to go through them for ceremony and reception decor. Sorry for some many questions...just figured i might be able to get answers from the forum since i haven't heard from DRC. Thanks!
  8. havent heard of any violence spreading but it does make you nervous to consitently hear about it on the news. I've even had some friends mention it to me. I hope it doesn't deter anyone from attending!
  9. I know on the old site you were able to change your settings so you could see more posts per page but I haven't been able to change my setting this time. any help? thanks!

My estimate is 50-60 people so hopefully Ana will throw in some extras. I haven't had any contact with her yet, my TA has set everything up. But I requested the deck for my reception so when the time comes I'm definitely going to ask about her throwing in some tiki torches!
  14. Boo - Thanks so much for all the lantern websites! I guess it can get expensive to use those and how would we plug them in...or I guess thats what you meant about the LED's? I really love the under the table lights, I think im going to go that route too. I feel the deck definitely needs more lighting. I had orginally thought about adding the tiki torches but those are kind of expensive also.
