I came out of my shoe quest falling in love with Hot Pink Kate Spade Clarice and couldnt be happier!!! The swatch is PERFECT!!! I love Dessy. I ordered some of there swatches and color samples as well!! They came so well put together and professional!! A+ to Dessy!! You've hit it dead on! I went into the bridal store, saw a dress on the mannequin and said, "I'll take that one". My one bridesmaid sent me a photo of a dress she kinda wants to wear and I said, "Sure! Do it". Yet here I am ordering color swatches for shoes?!?! I totally considered those Manolos at one point too! And I NEVER thought of the beading snagging your dress. Oh, and TOUCHE on the Kate Spades!! She is fabulous! If I have to order any other sort of color swatches I'm totally going back to dessy! You're so right about the "put together/professional" part. My swatches came in their own cardboard tri-fold folder. That way I don't have color swatches lying all over the place.

  3. I just got my color swatch in the mail, and it is spectacular! It's the exact color I want...pure fuchsia! It was really difficult to get a good photo of it, considering how the light hits the satin making it look a slightly different shade than it is in real life. They sent me two swatches for $15. I got them from dressy.com and they have tons of colors to choose from. They are big swatched too! They come in approx. 7" x 5" blocks. Now to send my shoes off to get dyed!!
  4. At first I was hesitant to have fuchsia and orange for my colors just because I knew that SO many other girls had them, but now I'm glad to have chosen colors in which I can get ideas from other brides! Here are my inspirations... Our color shades Flowers - The orange and fuchsia flowers will be arranged just like the white/pink bouquet for my bouquet Cake AHR Centerpieces - Although we will have fuchsia roses incorporated as well, and they will be a smaller version of this (with 4-5 roses per centerpiece)
  5. I really want to sell these, so I can move along with my "shoe adventure" so I am willing to accept any reasonable offer. (They are on Zappos, but in a more purple-ish/magenta color. These are Barbie hot pink.) Shoot me an offer!
  6. I found them on Ebay. I went back to look for them for you, but it looks at though they are sold out of pretty much every size except 6. They are Qupid (?) brand. I've never heard of that brand until I saw these, but they were a good shoe.
  7. Oh, and to give credit where credit is due, the red/black heels can be purchased from a private seller at Pageant Resale (size 6.5 $35) and the clear crystal heels can be purchase on Etsy from seller primadeco ($280)

And actually quite reassuring, since I figured it would take me MUCH longer to crystal just my heel! I am absolutely planning on doing my heel still! I will take photos as I go, so if another bride decides to take this "journey" with her shoes, it hopefully won't take her quite so long. Here are a couple of my inspirations... KarenM - I haven't received it yet, and ironically I just emailed them yesterday to see what was taking so long. I ordered back on April 5th! They got back to me with a tracking number and it says I'm supposed to get it on the 28th. Am I the only one thinking, "It's a 3 inch swatch! How long could it possibly take to get a 3 inch swatch?!" Oh well, at least I have time.

  10. Trinas79 - I also have a feeling this is going to be a long process, which is why I thought I might as well dedicate a whole thread to it! Hopefully I'll at least help you find your shoe ; ) Lindobride14 - I have looked at her line and I do love them, especially the ones you might go with! That might have to be the way I go next when my current plan doesn't work out! Angela - You are a sweetheart for even looking for me! When I told Tyler that I had a message board friend looking for a particular shoe in Canada for me, he was pretty much speechless, just rolled his eyes : ) My latest plan is to try dying (again) the original Stuart Weitzman's that I wanted. Apparently the exact same shoes (Jumbo) comes with two different heels, a shorter skinnier one, and a taller thicker one (but still "spiked"). The previous ones I had dyed were the shorter skinnier heel, which is probably another reason why I didn't like them as much. I got these from Zappos (taller, thicker heel) I found a site that will dye your shoes (that you didn't have to buy from them) whatever color swatch you send them (Custom Shoe Dyeing | Shoe Dyeing | Coloring Shoes | DyeMyShoes.com) I ordered this swatch and will plan on dying the white shoes this shade (assuming I like the shade when the swatch finally comes in!)

  12. Shuzzy I like the first one better! So pretty! I think the skirt is more dramatic and gives you a more "WOW" shape

They are Paris Hilton (didn’t even know she made shoes) Regal Peep-Toe Pumps in ivory. BUT my probably is that my feet range from a 8.5 to a 9.5 and I don’t want to have to return and exchange these shoes 3 different times to get the right size. I have called around all over to see if anyone sells these shoes (she makes the same shoes in grey and maroon and Macy’s sells them online) so I can try them on and see how they fit but no one carry’s them. We have some pretty huge malls around me and if they don’t carry them, then I probably won’t find them). So I contacted the website about sizing and I am waiting for an answer. Has anyone ordered anything off this site, Wedding Shoes - Dyeable Wedding Shoes - Designer Wedding Shoes - Kate Spade, Something Bleu, Stuart Weitzman Grazia - MGlassSlipper.com, or ordered/tried on any shoes from Paris Hilton? Thanks! Here are my shoes: PARIS HILTON REGAL Wedding Shoes and REGAL Dyeable Bridal Shoes WHITE, IVORY I have ordered from that site AND I have those Paris Hilton shoes in black! The site is good, I ordered some Stuart Weitzman's from them, except I had them dyed, and don't really like the shade of pink yet cannot return them since they were dyed. The Paris Hilton shoes fit pretty true to size. I am a 9.5, I got a 9.5 in them, and they fit good. However, it also depends on how you like your heels to fit. "True to size" to me means tight enough so when I walk my heel doesn't pop out. Some girls' meaning of "true to size" means there is a little bit of room between their heel and the shoe.

I personally love the Star and Princess styles. 2) if you have a specific color in mind (im doing tiffany blue) then check out Paradox London - Wedding Shoes and Bridal Accessories their pink bridal line is all dyeables, but they are flirty, and not the typical dyeable looking shoe - and really well priced. I was lucky enough to find a shop that carries them in my area....got the Margarita for myself - and the shop even dyes them black for free after the wedding if you want! just thought id share! Awesome!! Thanks for sharing!

I have to admit though, seeing it on you really does it justice because I can see in your photos how amazing the red satin looks. Thanks for posting that! Nicyx - CONGRATS!!! How exciting! That can be quite the mood booster whenever you're having a bad day ; )

I love one-shoulder things as well as big flower embellishments! Do you have a full photo of that dress you're wearing? I would love to finally see the whole outfit! It looks super cute! Michelle - Yep, you're racking up the number of shoes you buy, I'm racking up the number of dresses...well I guess I'm racking up the shoes too. Like I said, by the time next year rolls around I'm going to have enough dresses and shoes for 3 weddings. I hope Tyler isn't taking inventory on the number of packages that show up to the house! NJ Hunnie - That lace overlay on your dress is fabulous! Is there sparkle in the material too? Looks good! And it is actually very flattering on you. Makes your waist look great! I've got a bust and some hips on me and I have come to really love clothes that give you a shape (hourglass that is!)
