  1. So which service did you use to steam your dress, suits? The one offered through Playacar Palace or another one in town?
  2. Does Playacar Palace have a free shuttle from the airport in Cancun to the hotel, or do you have to set something up for your group?
  3. I am SO happy to hear that! I can't wait to hear about everything! CONGRATULATIONS TANYA!!!
  4. If you get the chance, send me your measurements (mainly just bust and waist, hips wouldn't matter for this dress) and I can let you know if it will fit you!
  5. I am typically an 8-10 street size and I would need to have this dress altered a bit in order to have the corset lace up and looks like it's supposed to. My bust size is a full C to a D and there is some room (I would have had bra cups put in). I would feel pretty confident saying this dress could fit at least a street size 12. I will do some more checking to see if I can give you any more concrete info!
  6. Well I'm finally that girl who got excited about being a bride and bought too much thinking it was all going to go to use. I'm sure there will be more down the road, but for now this is what I'm trying to sell. Large Crystal Circle Earrings Brand New, Never Worn Clip earrings, completely covered in crystals, VERY sparkly! Approximately 3 inches in length $60 (S&H Included) Large Swarovski Crystal Earrings with Gold Accents Brand New, Never Worn They sparkle beautifully and catch the light from every direction! Approximately 4 inches in length. $40 (S&H Included) Pink Victoria's Secret "Kiss the Bride" Tank Size L - Brand New with Tags $22 (S&H Included) Pink Stuart Weitzman Heels Brand New, Never Worn Professionally dyed pink Size 9.5 - 3.5 inch heel Retail Price: $340 $75 (S&H Included) Sottero & Midgley style #ASM3075 I was going to wear this dress for my TTD, but there's no way I will be able to haul it down to Mexico, along with my actual wedding dress. That is the only reason I'm not keeping it. Brand New, With Tags and Certificate of Authenticity It is a size 10 on the label, but since it is a corset top it can fit a wide range of sizes Retail Price: $1,250 $400 OBO (S&H Included)
  7. Just the other night I got an email notification from Zappos that these shoes (Paris Hilton Turquoise "Spelled" heels) are back in stock!! The only thing is, I have already found my wedding heels (and blinged them out!) But for anyone else on this sight who were looking for these particular heels and couldn't find them, they are back in stock at Zappos!
  8. Thank you! I found the shoes on Zappos. They are "Jilly" by Romantic Soles. I think you can also find them at 6pm.com
  9. It has been SOOO long since I've been on the forums! I have to admit, a lot of it was because of the new design. I was too lazy to re-learn my way around. But I had to update everyone on my wedding shoes! They are done and looking fabulous if I do say so myself! I actually finished them this summer, but am just getting around to posting. Here they are! Â Â And one with my garter because I love it almost as much as my heels! Â
  10. The short cocktail dress has sold, and I am reducing the price of the Sottero & Midgely one to $350 (S&H Included) just to get it sold!
  11. I'm 6'0" as well and it hits me above the knee, about mid-thigh. About the same as every other short, above-the-knee dress ; )
  12. I got it at a boutique where I'm from. If you're interested, shoot me an offer! It is about as new as you can get it. I literally picked it up from the boutique 2 days ago.
  13. I will pay S&H and insurance for all items. PM me with questions or offers! Â So I found my TTD (or so I thought) and after getting it I realized there is no way I'm going to be able to haul this down to Mexico since my actual wedding dress is just as big as this one. I can carry on one big dress, but I can't haul two big dresses down there! Â This is an authentic Sottero & Midgley 2 piece white ball gown, corset top, very full tulle skirt with a slight train in the back. It is a size 10 on the label, but since it is a corset top it can fit a wide range of sizes. It can also fit a wide range of heights. I am 6'0" tall and it drags on the ground for me. It is style #ASM3075 and the retail price is $1,250. I am listing it for $800, but am willing to accept best offers. Â Â Â Â Â Â This dress I was going to wear for my AHR. I ordered it about 4 months ago, and when it finally came in I had found something else I like better. It is Sherri Hill Cocktail Dress #1220 in a size 10. This dress is nude satin with white lace overlay that can be worn as a fitted strapless dress, or with the fluffy tulle skirt attached, so it is literally 2 dresses in one. There are clusters of sparkly sequins and beads throughout the dress. Dress also comes with optional straps that can be attached, and a shawl. Comes from a smoke free, pet free home. I paid $440 for it. I am listing it for $300 but am willing to accept best offer.
  14. I actually haven't had anything dyed from Dessy. I found a different pair of neon pink shoes that I'm rhinestoning instead. However, I am planning on still dying some shoes from another place www.dyemyshoes.com. I got my color swatch from Dessy (fuchsia swatch).

Be careful if you find a pair that you absolutely love. There were a couple pairs that I found that I liked but wanted to wait, next thing I knew they were sold out in my size. I've noticed that Zappos tends to sell out a lot!

Giuseppe Zanotti E00063 at Zappos.com LOL!! I hope that you girls got as much of a kick our of those as I did!! Obviously I am kidding about the shoes. But I do REALLY love all of your ideas with the rhinestones! I can't wait to see the finished product!! YO! What a steal! Really, Zappos?!? Really?!?? I was absolutely blown away when I saw those! I must've been searching all the wrong things, b/c I had no idea something like this was even on Zappos! Touche Brwnidgrl3 for finding these!
  17. Becks - I almost went with kate spade too. I love the ones you chose! I've never seen anything like them before! islandbride - Thanks! Yeah the two styles are so different but I love them both. These actually may be better for the whole laid-back/fun Mexican wedding anyway. Less formal! And you are absolutely right by calling it a destination! HA! I love it! Mischaka - I'm going to go with the latest photo of the bright pink ones that I'm starting to rhinestone. It seems like its going to be a lot of work, but I'm so excited for them that it doesn't really bother me to sit there and tediously place glue and rhinestones on them. Since you seem to be just as excited as I am for your shoes, I'm sure it won't bother you either!! ; )
  18. I haven't been on the forum in SO long! But I have started my crystalling on my shoes, so I had to make sure to log on and update the thread! I had a change of heart since my last decision, I found some different shoes, different style but amazing color and MUCH cheaper (my conscious was getting the best of me with the Stuart Weitzman's). Here are the winners! I'm not crazy about the "bow" on the toe, but they blend in so well when they're on that you don't even notice them. They are a satin-y material that gives sort of a plastic look in photos, but they're beautiful in real life. Here are my crystalling materials. And here is my work so far (yeah I know, I got a LONG way to go!) Even just the few I have tacked on so far sparkle like crazy in real life, I'm so excited!!

  20. I still have these shoes, and they are still brand new! Still willing to accept any reasonable offer!
  21. YAY! We're close enough to our weddings that we can have a "May 2011" thread! I just sent out our save the dates yesterday...very excited!!
