  2. Aww! I don't think you look stupid, you look so excited and happy! Which you should be because you look beautiful!

I emailed them saying how great the dress turned out, just wasn't a good style on me, and they offered to custom make me a new dress (different style - I got to choose) if I would just pay shipping (which is like $80) AND they told me just to keep this dress as well. They also said they would make it ASAP since I "wasn't 100% satisfied" with my first order. Since it wasn't the craftsmanship that was wrong with this dress (it was me not liking the style on my body) I went ahead and agreed to their deal and just chose a different style of dress that I thought would look better one me.

He limits the number of sessions he does in a week so that he can touch up your photos and offer a 3 week turn around. He has probably received 20 e-mails from either my fiancé or I and has been nothing but kind and understand with each response. At first I was nervous that he is new to wedding photography in Mexico but I am excited to see his artistic style at work. That's the packages that I was thinking of going with as well. So when he photoshops your photos, do you know does he do ALL of them?? I've seen that some photog's will only fix a certain number of them, and then the rest of the photos just remain as proofs. He is one of the photographer's I am actually most comfortable with. I have a couple others "on the line" that I feel uneasy about the way you feel about Pierre. I am having Stefanie from Ajua planners coordinate my wedding and she spoke very highly of Pierre. I also liked the way he broke down his price/information sheet. He included more info than I've seen from many other photographers' price sheets. You will have to keep me updated on how everything goes!

So far he has been really great to work with. His web sight is Pierre Visual Studio - Wedding Photography- Mayan Riviera- Playa del Carmen - Home - Wedding Photographer I think I am going to go with Pierre Violle as well. What all packages are you doing with him?
  8. I know you ladies are talking about locking down the wedding package prices, but you know about the room prices? I searched this thread (maybe I just didn't search good enough) and didn't find anything on whether or not you are able to book rooms now for 2011 and lock into the 2010 prices they have listed.
  9. Ooh! Yes let us know how the DW expo turns out if you end up going!
  10. I realize that many people are now weary about purchasing items through this forum, however I do want to sell this dress pretty badly so would be willing to drop the price down to $110 (shipping included). If you have any questions that you would like to ask me to make yourself feel better about buying from me, by all means, ask!
  11. Pinup and Glamour Photo studio Here is another Boudoir place that looks really good. Her style is more fun/themed than sultry/sexy like others I've seen, so it really depends on what look you want.
  12. The TTD session is one of the things I'm MOST excited about! Take a look at some of the TTD pics that are on some photographers' websites. . . Amazing!!

Has anyone else had a similar bouquet to the one I would like? How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking. I am still in shock!! Many thanks, Angela WOW! I would think that many of those flowers would be easy to get in Cancun and thus not too expensive. I would think $650 would be the bill for all the flowers not just yours.

I thought my tent was made of better material than the DB taffeta dresses I tried on. Not to mention the poor fit and major alterations necessary. I ordered from somebody else so the materials are guaranteed to be different but I'm kinda freaking out now! I want BETTER quality. Haha. I'm not expecting Maggie quality though (replica designer I ordered) I think I know what you're talking about, and I think I can explain. . . Dresses from Maggie are made of better material, and therefore cost more. For example a dress from China and a Maggie dress may both be made from chiffon, but a China dress would use a polyester-chiffon where a Maggie would use a silk-chiffon which flows absolutely beautifully and looks just lighter than air. The China dress is still gorgeous and very well made, but you can definitely tell the difference in the fabric. You normally wouldn't know the difference until you got the dress though, because people typically list chiffon as chiffon (or whatever material) without specifying which type they use. I'm not sure about David's Bridal dresses as I'm not too familiar with them, but I would assume it's the same case, especially since they are able to offer cheaper dresses. You definitely pay for what you get with a higher end dress like a Maggie (better fabric, better crystals, etc), but if that doesn't really matter to you then a China dress would work just as good!

  21. I'm kinda doing the same thing as everyone else, I am getting ready to actually book my wedding planner (so she can get crackin'!) and my photographer (so as to get his 2009/10 prices), but have only chosen which resort we want b/c we can't actually book yet. Flights and hotels will have to wait!
