  1. Lets see if this link works for you, http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ied-here-2782/ Any questions you have a surely in this thread
  2. I've already posted a thread on here asking for advice about something along these lines. My dad can't attend for health reasons so i'm going to walk down with my little boy. Hes only 2 and hopefully I won't end up chasing him around, but its a solution & he is one of the most important people in my life
  3. Thanks everyone for your kind words for my dad The timing is really sucky, but his health is way more important to me. My FILs are going to film everything for him so he doesn't miss a thing. I think it would be very special to have Raiden(my son) walk me down. My 4 year old is the FG, so to have them both included in our wedding is super special. My FMIL suggested having a friend walk me down, but i think since we aren't doing the whole traditional church wedding anyway, anything goes...& my dad is very happy with the decision. He says that the ONLY "little' man good enough to replace him is his grandson..lol Thanks again girls!!

Before I ordered them I found a dress in the same colour on ebay for $70 that I bought as a test dress so the girls could check it out and then decide if it was for them. Well they all have their dresses now and can't stop trying them on to figure out which way they want to wear them! Thanks Heather!! Your comment just reinforces the idea to buy those ones!! I hope my BMs will be as excited about them as yours are I'm going to get them these shoes to wear as well...They are so cute i'm going to get a pair for myself to!! http://www2.victoriassecret.com/comm...ZZZ&rfnbr=7151
  5. Yeah, definitley not wanting to have them wear those anymore. I've decided to go for this one instead... Victoria's Secret - Daytime jersey A-line Convertible Dress in solids Its still beachy and they can wear it over again, and seems to be the perfect length. Plus it can be worn 7 different ways...Bonus Thanks for your help everyone!!!
  6. My TA called me the other day to let me know that 4 new people had booked for our wedding. When she said the names I didn't even know who she was talking about. Turns out my FIs Best Man's Wifes Best Friends (lol) are coming. Who knew?? Not us!!! My FILs have invited everybody under the moon & then says "oh don't worry, you'll get money as wedding gifts & can use that money to pay for all the extra people" Are you effing kidding me!!!! Ughhh....nothing much I can do, except vent about it on here..lol
  7. My dilemma is that we just found out my dad is having heart surgery two days before my wedding...its not serious or life-threatening...but he will obviously not be attending my wedding My dilemma now is finding someone to walk me down the aisle. Do you all think its weird to walk down with my 2 year old son?? He is the ringbearer anyway, and is a rambunctious little fella that needs the company while walking down to keep him from running wild. I personally think it will look cute, him all dressed up in his little tux....and hes such a cutie-pie!! lol...biased Anyway, what do you guys think?? Weird or cute??
  8. hahaha...I noticed that after I posted. I went back to check out everyones choices...Those shoes are kick a**!!!! Love them!!! Oh, and I love our colors

  10. Thanks for the replies. I would prefer a longer size. The size options are 18' from the waist & 23' from the waist. Is the 23' down to the knees?? If so, I think I would prefer that. I gave them the convertable dress option as well, and it seems my girls are still wanting to go in the VS dress direction...unfortunatley I would like it to be alittle more formal but they are travelling all the way to Mexico for me & I want them to wear what makes them comfortable. I just hope there boobs aren't popping out the whole night. lol...i'd rather my FI be looking at me and not their business...lol
  11. My colors are fuschia & orange so I decided to go for something that pops with that color.
  12. Hi ladies, I'm from Canada and there is no Victoria Secret located here and I was looking online at purchasing my BM dresses through them. I just want to purchase something like... Victoria's Secret - The Beach Dress or along those lines. My BMs picked them because they are so beachy. They want a dress they could wear over again if they wanted. My question to all of you who have ever purchased from VS is what is the fit like. Is it very clingy and unforgiving? My BMs are tiny so that shouldn't be a problem, but I'd still like to be able to tell them if the dress will stick to their body like glue. Any info on these or any beachy dresses for VS would be greatly appreciated.

We also used the resort photog, and our photos and video came with the package. The video guy deliverd our video to us the next morning, and the photog delieverd our photos a few days later to our honey moon resort. I forget how maby photos we got, but it was a pretty big album, and he also gave us like 8 big photos. Hope that helps Thanks. That helps alot!!
  14. Great job on the website. I found it so fun to make one We are getting married at Dreams Cancun...Dreams Tulum is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Although Im ok with the idea of just wearing flowers in my hair, but at the same time I really feel like a bride with the veil?! so confused! Did you ladies wear veils? Do you recommend I wear a veil? I'm not wearing a veil, but in past posts there have been girls who have worn them and have said it is VERY windy & the veil was flying around alot. Maybe wear the flowers for the ceremony & put the veil on for photos?? I also have a question. We are using the resort photog for our pictures of the wedding day and it is included in the package we are getting. I'm wondering if it is just his & the videographers time that is included in the package or do you get pictures & the video as well....or is it extra to purchase the pics & vid?? Thanks!!
  16. So, my FI & I are getting married at Dreams Cancun and unfortunately just found out his parents are staying for almost an extra week at the same hotel. We definitley don't want to spend our honeymoon with them. I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions for an adult only all inclusive resort in Cancun for us to celebrate a week together ALONE---preferably at a good price point. Thanks to everyone who comments!!!

I did mine through Wedding Planning Guide and Free Wedding Websites - mywedding.com and its free & they have a TON of different designs.
  19. Well ladies, I just finished my wedding website. Since alot of the planning hasn't been confirmed(flights & what not) not everything is done. BUT it is so much fun to do!! Hope you like it!!!! Heres the link... Dallas & Melanie - wedding website by mywedding.com

Ohhhh....understood Thanks!! I thought it was an extra 500 on top of the package price....
  21. This is a question about the $500 deposit put down to secure the wedding date. In the contract it says that the $500 can be applied to ceremony/reception upgrades. Does this mean decorations, cake etc....What are you guys upgrading using the deposit?? Will they let you apply it towards the sound system or something like that?
  22. I'm with everyone else....Its YOUR wedding do what makes you the happiest!!!!
  23. Congrats & to the forum!!!! This place is so helpful & everyone is so wonderful Happy Planning!!!!!
