Random question but does anyone have a picture they could post that shows what you see when you enter Dreams Cancun...The lobby i guess. I'm just curious because i've seem what Dreams Rivieras' lobby looks like & its pretty grand. Just want to know what to expect. Thanks

OMG!!!!! I love the gazebo, but maybe it could use a remodel....but all those other brides that chose the resort for the gazebo are going to be p****d off if the WC doesn't fill them in before they get there...not a good thing to suprise a bride with!!!! Ughhh... I feel so bad for them

Have you considered Dreams Cancun? Its family-friendly. I'll post a picture of the gazebo there, although I guess it is torn down for a remodel but will be done on April 30th of this year. The location of the gazebo is the whole reason i chose this resort...

We are getting legally hitched before we leave for our 'wedding' in Mexico and i'm just wondering if any of you have had some troubles writing your program for a symbolic ceremony? I have NO idea what to put on it. We aren't saying prayers or anything, so what have you all done for a symbolic wedding program? Thanks

The dilemma of walking down the aisle...Who knew this would be such a hard decision?? Anyway, I have decided to walk down with my son. He is too cute to pass up on this idea. He'll definitley steal the show lol As for your dilemma, I would say you are soooo lucky to have a step-dad that has taken you in as his own and it would be such a nice gesture to him to suggest he walk with you Dad's are big mushies when it comes to their daughters & what a nice way to let him know how much he means to you. Of course, I think having your kids walk down with you is also a great idea, but maybe i'm biased You have to do what you think is right because it is after all your day!! If my dad could I would have him walk me down because i think it is such a special thing to share...so personally what I would do in your situation, is walk down with my stepdad & mom & have my kids in the wedding party so they are included too. That way everyone feels a part of your special day Hope this helps & good luck with your choice!!

They let you bring your ipod into the lobby bar to party longer? I thought they wanted it quiet after 11pm? Azucar sounds cool...ESPECIALLY if its pretty empty so we can all party together. Did anyone just do the sound system for the reception? Do you just need a playlist on you Ipod & docking station and is there someone there to switch songs for you? I know these questions have been asked before and i'm sure i've read the answers, but i need a refresher...lol

Also what are you guys planning on doing after the reception? I've read reviews & it seems that DC is not the most lively of resorts in Cancun. Does anyone have any fun suggestions for me as my recetion is probably going to end around 10-ish. Thanks again ladies

Just wondering if you guys can help me out. I've tried getting in touch with Claudia but now that my deposit has been paid there is no contact between us. I totally get that most of the planning is done when I get there, but I know there are a few things I should book through her, like a DJ. I'm wondering if you guys can help me out with a list of things I HAVE to book or order before the wedding. I want to have one last talk with her and then not bother her again until i'm there...any must-haves that you guys can think of would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for your help ladies

I wrote to cancun Wedding Photography a while back & I recieved a response back saying that Cancun Wedding Photography isn't available. Since then I have been talking with someone from All About Photography. Maybe this company took over for them, i'm not sure. I'll PM you the email address for the person who responded & is now handling my TTD shoot for me. At the very least, write him & see if he can help you out because if they took over for Cancun Wedding than maybe they have your photos. Hope this helps you!!!!!

Just wondering how long it took for any of your Paloma Blancas to come in. I oredered mine at the beginning of February & she said it takes anywhere from 6-8 months...I'm hoping its closer to the 6 because my wedding is only 6 months away. I'm just alittle nervous it will take the whole 8 months & I won't get it on time. I'm probably just alittle paranoid lol Thanks

A good friend of my FI's family made our invites for us. We just finished them yesterday & I had the chance to help out with the details. We did it in a different style from some of those out there as we attached the RSVP to the side of the invite. Its perforated & can just be torn off & sent back to us. The envelope is stamped & embossed which gives it some depth & sparkle. I LOVE how they turned out & am so impressed that we have 100 invites and didn't have to pay anything for them. I also bought fuschia & orange envelopes to mail them out in, but they aren't arriving until Friday. Hope you all like them as much as we do

Since we all seem to be a bunch of shorties...i'm 5'1-100 pounds, i'm wondering if you all are wearing heels?? My FI is 6'5 so he TOWERS over me but i'm uncomfortable in heels so I want to wear flip flops. I just don't want to look so small compared to him for my wedding pics & such. I'm getting my dress altered to fit with flip flops so wearing heels even for pics might look funny and the dress may be to short. Anyone else having this problem

We are getting married at Dreams Cancun & all of our guests will be with us for the first week, then we are moving to the Riviera Maya to an adult-only resort (& shipping my kids off with the grandparents ) to catch a break & some MUCH needed alone time!!! Can't Wait!!!!
