What are you calling your AHR on your wedding website?

would you mind telling me what each cost? Also, did you have to glue them together yourself? I just saw this pockets site for the first time. yours look fabulous!

Here is my wedding website. I bought our domain name, then used the templates on weddingwindow.com. Marie Sam has been a huge help. I never thought of buying note cards and printing on them. Great job. Darn, i just bought some inexpensive note cards at Michaels... the bright green - that would have worked.

can someone recommend a card stock for these passport invites?

I am interested in buying a dress for TTD session so that I can keep my own in good shape. If anyone has a pretty dress for an inexpensive price i am interested. (I am a size 6), ordered an 8 in my wedding gown. - Nicole

Ladies, OK. Getting hitched 5.29.10 in Akumal. So far I have done: Dress ordered STD's sent Website created and 84 RSVPs received. Villa & wedding site booked, and photographer booked. Oh, and engagement photos done. That's it! I still have so much to do. I am waiting for my WC to respond with pricing on various elements. We are considering asking a friend to do the ceremony for us rather than a random person. Is anyone else doing this? And if so, do you have an outline to begin with? We don't know how the ceremony should go... rings, bridesmaid and flower girl dress, grooms suit, welcome bags, favors, etc...?? I have no idea what sort of favor to have. My wedding is a lime theme... any ideas for guests favors?

I will definitely check out Blurb. Is it titled "Guest book" ?? And already mostly laid out for you?

this is a great thread. My FI is from TX, so we will shop for Guayabera shirts in San Antonio over Xmas for the Dads, BM, ring bearer and maybe my FI. Do you think it's ok for him to wear a suit and his brother just the Guayabera and pants?

Ok, I went out a bought a few things.. before seeing these most recent posts.. wow! I found a lime green (my color) makeup bag at Pier One Imports of all places. and I bought other small cute things to put inside. A matching luggage tag which i put on and inside it printed out label saying "Maid of Honor" etc. Inside i put little paper soaps, a cute change purse, compact mirror, small note tablet and a little fold up bag for grocery (or wet bathing suit!) ... I don't have a card yet and have not asked them yet. Still want to add something else really Mexican. Love the poem!!

We have 54 confirms and 40 others who "say" they are coming! Oh geez, I dont know where we are going to put all of these people, but i guess it will be a great party!

Diamondpooch, My wedding theme is limes and these are great to add to my inspiration photos,... just swap out lemons for limes. Love it! What are you doing for table numbers/favors??

How does the dress and material FEEL on you? Does it feel pretty good compared to dresses you've tried on in the bridal salons? I have not started shopping yet, but i found a pic of a dress today on some China mfg dress website that I fell in love with! I wonder if it's worth a shot. Can you tell me what sort of material it is made of? Is it lightweight??

It's too soon for me to commit. I have not yet selected bridesmaid dresses, so I'm not sure which color i'd want. Probably turquoise or lime. I was thinking of giving pashminas to the girl cousins and/or the special ladies. I opted to only choose a maid and matron of honor, but wanted to do something special for the others. this is one idea.

I am pretty of of the girls in my FI's office tried mine on. She is a friend of ours, so I don't care. And I offer it to all of my friends to try on, because i had been trying on everyone's for years!! And it was never bad luck for them or for me. At the end of the day, if the relationship is strong the wedding will happen and the marriage will last right? Some are superstitious and I am not that way at all. My friends LOVE trying on my ring and they fight over it.

I also found bags by CYMA on Amazon for $2.50 each. They are bright green, but they have natural also. I tried ironing on my logo, but I'm not sure if my iron gets hot enough... it does not look great. I'm not sure if I should keep going. This site is great and I'd use it if I hadn't already found the cyma bags. They are really big though and will be difficult to transport i am afraid.

Looking for some reviews for a nice place to honeymoon in Riviera Maya. Small resorts only please. If you've honeymooned at Ceiba del Mar or Maroma the smaller one, please let me know how you liked it, which room you had, etc. Thanks!

My good friend was married here in June with 65 guests. They loved it! I was unable to attend only bc my best friend's wedding was the week prior in Puerto Rico. However, I have seen pics and talked to friends and family who attended and did not hear one negative. I am actually planning to book 4-5 nights here for our honeymoon after our wedding in Akumal. One note. my friend did mention that everything was a charge... tables, dj, etc.. everything is a fee, just like if you were doing the wedding yourself through multiple vendors. Not sure if other resorts have all inclusive wedding packages. I know they were pleased overall with how everything turned out. Also, they were able to negotiate on the room rates for guests and got a great deal. I recommend negotiating if you are there during a slower season. Good luck! Ladies who went for the Fake flowers... have any of you gone with a simple white and green? I wonder if it makes sense to do these if I am looking for a simple bouquet. Or is it silly to do a simple bouquet when getting married in a tropical destination? I plan to get married overlooking the Yal-ku Lagoon, so it's more of a garden setting. Opinions?? And my color is lime green.

Does anyone have a starting point for vows?? I would love to work off of something rather than creating from scratch. )
