  1. So, the night after my treatment my teeth hurt...... bad. I took some tylenol PM to help me go to sleep and ignore the pain and I woke up this morning with ZERO pain. So, it was short lived. I went to drink a glass of red wine tonight and I found myself putting it down! I don't wanna re-stain my teeth! Ha! I will admit, my teeth do look whiter. I'm going back Tuesday for her to do some cosmetic straightening of the bottoms of my upper teeth so they're all even and to replace the bonding on my front tooth. Hopefully my smile will be set for picture time!

Well, I got it done today and THIS is exactly what happened to me. On one of my lower teeth I had a spot that was a bit lighter and after Zoom it's more prominant now. My teeth were pretty white to begin with, so my results weren't eye popping, but they are whiter. I'm going back next week for her to even out the bottoms of my top teeth and replace that bonding I have on my front tooth. I think I went up three shades. For the hygienists on here, I went from a B2 to a shade on the bleaching charts. The procedure was mildly uncomfortable and I got a couple of quick sharp sensitivity bursts through my teeth, but they went away right away. Overall, I'm happy with the results, but if you have fairly white teeth already, don't expect to be blown away with the results.

I'm still trying to figure out what else to put in there that's going to take up a bunch of room!
  4. Alisha, the fire dancers are a separate purchase. You get 45 minutes on fire dancers and stick walkers for $1500.

Obviously if you smoke, drink coffee, red wine, etc they are going to re-stain much quicker. Ya, the lady told me that Zoom whitens just as well as the take home trays, the reason it's so expensive is that you are paying for the immediate gratification. I have a bonding on my front tooth that will not get whiter with bleaching, so I have no choice but to do it in one step because the dentist will then have to replace my bonding with a coordinating shade. If I did it gradually, the bonding on my tooth would be obvious. I hope my teeth aren't too white! I'm super excited about this!
  6. Normally $500 but they are running a holiday special for $395. They just called me and they had a cancellation for tomorrow so I'm doing it tomorrow now! Woohoo!

Yup, I leave at 630 am, so we will for sure be seeing each other! This is hilarious.
  8. Well, I've decided to spend the money and I'm getting Zoom Whitening in two weeks for the wedding! I'll let you know how it goes!
  9. You should visit the Barcelo Maya Brides thread. Also you can go to unofficialbarcelomaya.com and there is lots of useful info there. There are lots of women on this board getting married at Barcelo, so just read up and good luck!
  10. cool! Ya, I was always planning on bringing them down in my suitcase. I'm just too nervous that they will get confiscated by customs or something will go wrong. So, unless my mom finds a surefire way to ship them, we will be taking them down there in the suitcases! They are a pretty light weight though, so it's not too bad and I only have five.
  11. Yes, I booked through my ta who booked through apple. I insisted that i have a non stop flight! All of my guests do! It's the way to go. We just can't go through customs at the same time! Can you imagine both of us lugging all our stuff with us! We'd get the red light for sure.
  12. Thanks! I got the whole system for free from my dad so I'm excited I didn't have to pay for any of it! I'm not going to bother to start during the holidays, but as of Jan 1 I'm going full steam ahead!
  13. So, I have now been informed they have "green lemons" in Mexico. I said, "You mean LIMES!" Arrrgghhhh. My whole color scheme for the reception is based on yellow, so now I've gotta find fake lemons and take those down with me too. So annoying. I wouldn't ship anything to Mexico. I've heard horror stories and for as much money as you are spending on stuff, I would feel safer taking it in a suitcase.
  14. T minus 45 days till we start our P90X. Ugh. I'm dreading it and excited about it all at the same time
  15. True, I could just confine all my text toward the bottom and leave the top for my hole punch and ribbon. Hmmmm. I shall try it. I spent a bunch of time the other day trying to do this and I realized, what's the point I can't print which table everyone is at until I do the seating chart which I can't do until I know for sure who all is coming! How silly of me! I guess I'll do my welcome letter and menu cards next then. hehe.

Who would ever think there would be so many Missouri gals gettin married in Mexico that week I don't have any unusual markings to ID me, but maybe the strawberry blonde hair will give me away? In fact, there will be 3 redheads in my group, Me, my sis and my photographer!!! LOL ...That might stand out in MX:) Oh, we are flying USA 3000 and we have a straight shot to Mexico from STL. We leave around 7. I BET we see each other in the airport So funny! it's nearly impossible to find any cheap spray bottle fans and snorkeling gear. Maybe once summer gets closer. Any other ideas of what I can use to fill up this bag that will take up space?

I'm not sure how long it has been out, but MAC has a new Medium/full coverage foundation called Studio Sculpt. It has concealer with it. If you have dry skin, it works amazing! It's my favorite foundation I've ever used. It covers everything. As a makeup artist, the best photo finishing is Makeup Forever's high definition line. Check it out at Sephora.

You will know me on the beach cuz, sadly, I have five huge tattoos on me. Yes, regret each and every one of them! Oh well, it is what it is. I am so stoked that we don't have much longer to wait. What flight are you on? How fun will it be if we are on the same flight?! Quote: Originally Posted by vdaybride How did you like the quality of the towels? I totally posted the wrong site. It's cottonfruit.com. Sorry! My bad! I'll fix it in my post above. I've decided to use those vacuum storage bags to maximize space in my suitcases for the towels. Great idea right??!!! Another idea stolen from a BDW bride! I've been to a destination wedding before and the towels were amazing, so you should totally get them. It's an awesome way to know your group at the resort and everyone else will know your group as well! Quote: Originally Posted by Jennybell1 Love it!!! 19. does NOT work for me. When another poster posts a link to another thread in this forum, and I click on it, it just spits me out to the main menu. What am I doing wrong?

I am really worried that I will not be able to have it changed!!! Has anyone had any problem with changing plans with the WCs I'm sure it's not a problem. You think they're going to turn down more money hahhahaha. Like MoBride says, talk to your WC right away so you can reserve a location.
  21. good question. Also, am I allowed to bring bottled water into Mexico? If I check it?
  22. So, all of my contents for my OOT bag have finally come in the mail and I put it together and took some pics for you! The bags I ordered ended up being much wider than I thought they would be, so I think I may have to buy some more stuff to put in them, but, that's ok! FYI, my colors are Navy and Yellow. I bought my bags through discountmugs.com. I paid $1.49 a bag, unprinted. The beach towels I ordered through CottonTowels.com and paid $4.50 a towel, unprinted. The stadium cups I bought through discountfavors.com and paid $89 for 100 22 oz cups and that includes the set up fee for the artwork on them. I made my keycard/tip holders myself (see my DIY thread) as well as the tags for the bags. I bought the "M" tins at Michaels (my last name will be Monday, so it worked out...hehe) as well as the playing cards and bought all the medicine from firstaidproduct.com. The Tylenol and Tums packets I got at the Dollar Tree as well as the sanitizer, gum, loofahs, wet wipes and bandaids. I think I may add those water bottles with the fans on them and possibly some cheap scuba sets if I can find them cheap. Those will take up some room I didn't bother monogramming or printing on the bags. That can get quite expensive and I'm already pushing my budget. I am currently looking for someone in my area who can get me a deal on possibly silk screening or embroidering my towels for me and if the price is right I will do it. Here are some pics: Here are my cups. The front says "Brian and Jacqui, May 29, 2010" and the back says this poem: To Keep Your Marriage Brimming, With Love In The Marriage Cup; Whenever You're Right Admit It; Whenever You're Wrong, Shut Up Here is a close up of my keycard Holder and tags. It feels good to have these bags for my guests because I know they are spending so much money to come down there and the least I can do is give them an awesome favor in these bags!
  23. Thanks for the advice! I feel like such a goober that I can't even make a basic rectangular template
