I can't remember who said it on here but it did remind me of my FI - I do all the legwork and DIY stuff, and then he looks at it and states all the things he doesn't like about it and what i should do with it to make it better!! it's like he's my boss!! the jobs i've given him to do I have no idea how he's doing with them coz everytime I ask him what's happening with them he tells me 'to chill out and stop hassling him - he's got it all under control'....AARRRGGGGHHHH that makes me panic even more!! haha lol but I do know he's started on his speech and he's taking it really, really seriously so I'll take the rest with a pinch of salt anybody else find that the closer you get to the wedding, the more arguments you have?? we've been bickering over stupid things (both of us) most of this week!! think we're both stressing a bit and I've not slept through the night for the past 2 weeks so i'm tired and probably a bit ratty too. for gods sake...who'd get married?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! hehe Yes! I hate the silly stress arguments!!! And I am SURE I am the cause of it...haha Ryan calls me "Negative Nancy" or "Moody Mona" when I get in my mood! haha

Over christmas I said we needed to get them done, and it never happened. Then he promised that he would work on them this weekend and get a good chunk done (I have been working on the already pretty much on my own)....that didn't happen. Last night he said he would do them....he cut 10 pieces of paper and glued them, and some of them he even glued on crooked! He is extremely artsy and probably more capable than I am of making them look nice. I'm so frustrated because I went with his idea for the invites, and he isn't even making much of an effort to do them! Sorry for ranting, but just needed to vent. Aside from that, I have such a stressful job this year and when I come home from school and see that the invites weren't done, I'm not in a good mood! SO sorry you are stressed!! I went to bed in tears last night, so I totally understand!!!! Have you talked to him about it? He probably has NO clue that he needs to finish them ASAP. Maybe put a lil fire under his booty! Or give him a "prize" if he completes them...tell him you will buy him something or take him to do his fav thing or whatever, as soon as he gets them done. Guys seem to need that kind of motivation...unfortunately! If you don't think he will get them done, can you move on the plan B? Let us know how we can help you!!!!

FI was saying he wanted to do that for the Friday night dinner. Thanks so much!

Not only that but every quote my DW TA has quoted this week has been wrong, like he's on crack, I'm so done with him. Sorry... totally vented! Hey, can you change TA's? I switched from DW to a girl on this site, and she has been sooo wonderful. SO patient with me and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Her name is Wendy Hicks. All her contact info is on on my website...www.lutznlindz.com. Tell her I sent you! MEN!!!!! Why are they ALL the same Literally, the SWEETEST most lovable people one second, and the biggest d*&$@ the next!?!?!

FI suggested we have dance lessons, he's not a big dancer and wanted to be able to dance to our first song well and make it look good. Our song is also way untraditional and not even many people like it but it's appropriate and fits our story and I love the song so I don't care No, I don't believe they require this. Unfortunately if people want to stay elsewhere they will. That's not a big deal as long as they know they'll have to pay to come onto the property and I'm sure you'll have group events throughout the week for people. Just make them aware that are trying to create a group atmosphere and it's an additional charge for them if they don't stay at your hotel and if they are able to it would be most helpful to you. I doubt you'll have trouble with this. My MOH & a bridesmaid plus about 6 other guests planned to stay at a timeshare 7 miles away (which is close) but still really upset me. After so much pointless planning everyone is staying at the resort which makes me happy, it's just the easiest. Good luck I'm sure everything will be just fine! It is the same dress I emailed you a couple of months ago...SO excited! Yeah you are right!! I need to stop worrying about all this crap! It is very frustrating though... UGH!! I just got an email from my BROTHER"S GIRLFRIEND saying they didn't wanna stay at the resort!!!!

The problem is, the rest of your vacation, you wont see or get to hang with your guest unless they come and pay for themselves a $80-$90_$100 day pass, meaning i have no idea how much it will be in 200 days lol. with the resorts unconsistant prices, i think its safe to stay in that range lol. So, for example, Im goin to have a WELCOME PARTY on thursday at the resort, and what about my 9 guest not booked there?? And the party is at night/ dinner time. IF they want, i guess they can come hang all day there and get ready in bathrooms or our room if they want and stay since it is an all day pass? I dont know what to do, it sucks but it is what it is. I have so much to do, that this doesnt help... but i guess at the end of the day, id rather have my family there than NOT there so if staying somewhere else was better for them, they hey, I guess i cant complain AHHHHH That was my exact concern! I wasn't really worried about the actual wedding day, but more so the other events and hanging out with them all weekend! My guests are starting to book, so hopefully, we can spread the word. On my save the dates and website, I am ONLY giving them 1 option. I could just see some stragglers trying to stay at the Best Western or something for $90 a night. Hopefully not though!!!!

I really don't think 2 would take away from our wedding and I hate to think that we act like its not special when BOTH days really will be..... He thinks it would be funny to do #1 b/c its next to the Post Office and so lame - they have this screen that they pull down that is cheesy and looks like you are on the beach (no way - totally fake) for pictures. LOL Decisions, decisions. OMG!!! The first one is AMAZING!! I would hands down do that. I would seriously cheese it up as much as I could. You could wear a hot pink wedding dress if you wanted too!! haha And like Amy said, you could keep this picture forever. And no one would even know what you were doing. THEN you could go out to dinner, etc. It would be a great story to tell the kids one day. I think sunglass need to be involved if you are standing in front of the "fake beach." Classic.
  10. Ok girls here is the scoop on the dress... I have decided against the dress that Heidi Elnora and I designed. I found one I LOVE! The designer is Junko Yoshioka. Check out her website to read her bio and see her dresses. Home - InStyle also has her featured and has a lot of her Spring and Fall 2010 dresses on their website. The dress is 100% silk mikado with a mermaid/fit to flair silhouette. It is fitted (and I will make it more fitted!) down to my mid-thighs and then has a big skirt with ruffles (not sure what they are made of and kind of asymmetrical). The neckline is sort of sweetheart, and the dress has a natural waist. BUT the best part of it is this fabulous sash by Amy Kuschel that I am tying around my waist. It's beautiful, and it gives my boy-shape figure some curves. The dress and sash are pretty trendy, and I am sure I will regret this 10 years for now. But, oh well!! I love it!!! I can email yall some pictures I took at the salon...of course the dress is way too big and pinned up, but maybe you can get the idea!
  11. ADVICE! Does Sensatori require that 80% of your guests stay at the resort that are attending the wedding? Mine does! And I honestly figured EVERYONE coming to the wedding would stay at the resort. However, lately I have been wondering how to deal with the issue of people requesting to stay at a different resort. This sounds like a huge catastrophe in the making. On my website and Save the Dates, I have made it very clear that the rooms are blocked off AT LE BLANC, and it is assumed everyone coming will stay there. However, I am starting to worry about people trying to save money and book elsewhere. Suggestions?!?

It's very untraditional so we want something choreographed (this was FI's idea by the way!) - Emailed people that need to book their flights yesterday, one by one - Finally heard back from WC, PHEW! She was having computer/email issues - Finally decided and booked honeymoon hotel - staying at LE BLANC Lindz!!! I really got a lot done this week and yesterday was the first time I felt like I didn't have too much to do. Weird feeling! How are you ladies doing? Well, I figured everyone could use a little swift kick in the booty to get their "to-do's" in gear...I know I do!! haha AWESOME job on getting all that stuff done. That is so sweet of you to check out Le Blanc while you are there. And no, you do not have to do my 007 work while you are on your honeymoon! ha You are too sweet. I am just gonna ask that you check out the rooftop terrace at some point and see how windy it is. I think yall are going to have a FABULOUS time!!! Ok, here is what I have gotten done: 1) STD's: done 2) website: pretty much done...will finalize this week. I changed the site to www.lutznlindz.com, so it would be easier to recognize. 3) DRESS!!! I DECIDED on it!!!! YAY!!!!!! sooooo excited! 2 of my bridesmaids went with me and agree that it was THE ONE! 4) Bridesmaids dresses: Decided on hot pink (fuchsia) or grayish/silver, one shoulder, and short and flowy. We have amped up our search! 5) Checked out flights and sent out price update...they have gone down almost $200. Oh!! I wanna hear more about this first dance song and dance! SO sweet of him!!

OK, my dress is from demetrois and its ivory. but its not your typical ivory, its almost like diamond white? I usually call it pearl. My colors are silver, charcol and hot pink. Since my dress JUST came in last week, I had previously picked out clothes for the men. Gray slacks, white shirt, dark gray vest, shiny gray tie and black shoes. NOW that my dress is here, i put a white shirt next to my dress and it looks horrible!!! I dont think its THAT bad, since they will have the vest on but it looks very ivory next to white...and I cannot stop thinking about it. But when I looked into getting ivory shirts for the guys, i didnt like those either, it just looked bad with the gray. I dont know what it is about ivory dress shirts for men, but I didnt like it at all. any thoughts girls I forgot we have the same colors! Yippee!!! Ok, here is a suggestion...my FI's favorite suit is gray. I know one of the shirts he wears with it is a VERY VERY light gray. You can hardly tell it is gray, but it looks good up against white or ivory. I bet you could find one like it, and it would go great!!
