I'm really excited to have you be a part of this, and I know you're going to do a great job - these are the pictures I would like you to take." Kill 'em with kindness...usually makes them back down! Good luck! This is great advice!
  3. Oh I love this show! It's like TV crack This whole Danielle situation is ridiculous - but great for ratings!! heh heh
  4. We aren't worried about our guests knowing about the legal marriage before hand. Our wedding is the one on the beach in DR and that will be our anniversary. We are just practical and I think our family apprecitaes that

The package included the chair sashes, which were also on the chairs for the ceremony. There were also table runners, and it included the centerpieces. They put little stones on the tables, and had menus. I have a picture that I will attempt to post - not sure how that will turn out! I would love to see pictures of the decorations as well. This is one thing I'm waffling on ;-)

  8. Heya ladies! Fiancee and I are in Calgary and we are getting married in less than 6 months in DR. We chose the Majestic Elegance. As previous posters have suggested, we are doing the legal paperwork in Calgary first to save some $$$. Good luck with your planning!
  9. My ceremony is 6pm. That's their sunset time. We are doing our photo before the ceremony.

We did 50 invites and the materials came in around $250. If we had done more I think the price per invite would have come down for ordering more material. All the design work was done in corel, and they were printed using a wax based printer. Hope that helps!

They were printed at work on a wax-based printer. It gives a much more saturated colour but also allows for the soft texture, though I think the paper helps with that, too!
  12. No worries! By the time I discovered that site it was too late to do up custom stamps for our invites. I am considering it for thank you cards. Would be cute to have a wedding photo stamp!
  13. Here are my invites and my save the date The invite materials are Envelopments. I got them printed at work and then DIY'd the assembly. I am thrilled with how they turned out and all of our guests have loved them so far!
