Like you said, sometimes paying a little bit of extra for our sanity is totally worth it!! Do you remember where you got the template from? And I'd love to see how yours turned out if you don't mind sharing!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the flowers and candles floating in water...here are some of my inspiration pics: (obviously in pink) (in pink here as well) I would like to do mainly the larger ones, but I think those smaller ones are adorable!! And then I can use the hurricanes from Z Gallerie on the cocktail tables...I am also planning on doing a lounge type set up, so those short candles/floating flowers could go on those tables... I love candles floating in water too. The website Dollar Tree, Inc.: Buy Bulk Floral Supplies, Toys, Party, Cleaning has different sized vases and they're all $1 each!
  3. I think a month to a month and a half is a good time to have a shower. My wedding is at the end of July so I think we're going to do the shower near the end of June but before the July 4th weekend.
  4. I really like that set too but the problem of getting the sand home is an issue. I've seen some sets that have tops on them but with most of them the opening of the vase is small so you may need a funnel to get the sand in. There's a website called Wedding Sand Ceremony - 70+ Designer Wedding Sand Colors Made in the USA that carries the sand and vase sets.
  5. I like the pedicure kit and the snorkle set. I saw some mini lemonade mixes I may use. The sunblock and playing cards are good ideas too. Thanks.

  7. I always get weaves but I've never gone swimming with one before. I'm really nervous about how my hair is going to look after I go swimming. The hair I want is already curled so I'm not sure if braiding it will work.
  8. That's a very nice ring. I'd like something similar to that.
  9. My colors are pink, silver and white so I told my mother to wear any type of pink dress and my FI's mother is going to wear a silver dress.
  10. I really like the black, white and orange. Maybe you can just do as an accent color.
  11. We're using an iPod Classic. The resort has an amplifier and docking station we can use at the ceremony and reception. I don't think the type really matters if you set a playlist; however, I'd stay away from the shuffle because you can't make playlists with the shuffle.
  12. These colors are so different. I really like blue with lime green and pink, blue and silver. They make my colors seem so boring! I have pink, silver and white.
  13. I think you should incorporate the gold in with the black, white and sliver.
  14. I have five teenagers coming to the wedding. Does anybody have any ideas about what can go in the OOT bags for them?
  15. I went to Cancun two years ago and the hopper pass was like $60 a person but it does include admission and drinks at all of the clubs you go to. It's pretty fun.
  16. Depending on the time of the ceremony, the gazebo may protect from the sun if it's too hot.

  18. Thanks guys. I guess I'll be changing the order!
  19. I'm using dw.com and basically to echo what many people have said it's a hit or miss. I haven't had any issues with the person I've been assigned to (although there have been 2 instances when I thought she could've moved a little faster.) One thing I didn't know was that they aren't coordinators. I figured out that they're just TAs after I paid the deposit. Had I known that I probably wouldn't have used them but it's working out fine for me so far.
  20. Name: Danielle FI Name: Ty Wedding Destination: Azul Sensatori Resort, Riviera Maya, Mexico What made you choose this destination? Was originally looking at St. Thomas but the resort I wanted was too pricey so I decided to change locations. The TA sent pics of the resort and we liked the pics. Wedding Date: July 31, 2010 What made you choose this date? We wanted a date in the summer. We preferred August but my family reunion is the 2nd Sunday in Aug and kids go back to school soon after that so we picked the last Saturday in July which happened to be the 31st. Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they? Pink, Silver and White What is something unique about your wedding? Uhmmm.....think I'm gonna have to come back to this one!
  21. These are great tips! I think the hard thing for me is going to be not to overpack. I usually pack 2 outfits per day, 1 bathing suit per day and I normally take at least 10 pairs of shoes on a 4 day trip, so this time I'm going to have to focus on packing only what's necessary.
  22. We're not having a cocktail hour. We're staying at an AI resort so while we're taking pics we're going to tell the guests to go to one of the lounges in between the ceremony and reception. A cocktail hour would cost us at least $600 so I figured that's money we can save.
  23. Thanks! I ordered enough for 40 people and that costs almost $600 but we have 60 people coming. I'm scared to find out how much it's going to cost to add 20 more people to the cost.
