We are flying our rabbi from home in for the wedding, but he is only doing a religious ceremony so we are legally getting married at the courthouse before we leave for Mexico(so romanic:). If you have any more questions on where I got things for the ceremony (i.e. yarmukles, ketubah, etc.) feel free to PM me. Good luck planning! Alexis Thanks so much, Alexis. I will definitely pick your brain when I get more organized...good luck to you too! Quote: Originally Posted by Future Mrs. L Hi MSG518, Did you have any luck finding a Rabbi? We are considering flying our rabbi out there. Best, Daniela Hi Daniela, No such luck finding a rabbi in Cancun or in the area that performs weddings. I Google'd "destination wedding rabbi" and a rabbi in the NY area came up that is willing to fly down. So it looks like we are going to fly him and his wife down. They seem like wonderful people, but it's so expensive! However I'm so happy we can meet them face-to-face before the wedding. How much are your rabbis charging for the ceremony?

Wedding Monograms

My email is [email protected] Thanks! Once they design the logo, they send you the final file in jpg or eps format and you can just send the logo to whatever vendors are doing your aisle runner, towels, etc... I ordered my aisle runner from Custom Aisle Runners | Wedding Aisle Runners | Aisle Runners and all I had to do was send her the jpeg of the monogram. The towels I ordered from Beach Towels wholesale manufacturer of custom embroidered monogrammed bath towel for corporate events and it was the same process - I just sent them the jpeg and they did the rest. Oh wow, Simba! Those are great ideas! I hope you don't mind if I steal some! Lol...also I'm not sure if it's my computer, but I can't see the pictures of the towels. -

I'm so happy because that is a huge weight lifted off my shoulder! I tried so hard to let my bridesmaids have a say in the dress so they wouldn't hate me, but they kept saying "We will wear whatever you want us to wear...even if you chose a garbage bag. It's your wedding!" So I finally made my decision!

I read what a few other girls had to say and my FI and I have decided to take pictures before the ceremony. I never thought I would want to do it that way, but it makes the most sense to us. For a few reasons: 1.I would love to join my guests during the cocktail hour and I don't want to have to pull people away from it either. 2. With the sunset wedding most likely it wouldn't be bright enough for pictures. 3. I want to capture my FI and my reaction to eachother in an intimate setting. 4. Also all nerves are out the window when it comes time for the ceremony.

I also keep debating on where I would like to marry on the beach or in the gazebo. Anyone else confused I felt the same way, but I think a big factor is many guests you have. I'm not sure exactly how many people the gazebo can hold, but it looks pretty small. It's gorgeous, however I also LOVE the idea of getting married on the beach and walking barefoot. So beach wedding for me!
