Something like... Don't forget to book your stay with your deposit to "__________ Travel Agent" for the best rates and , by ____________ (Date) __________ _________________ ________________ (give contact information for making the booking. You could even use "Move Up Our Date", if you were looking for other wording. Hope this is helpful. Mainly just make sure all the information they need for booking is available to each of your guest.

GREAT CHOICE!!! Angel is doing my florals as well!!! She is wonderful to work with, such a wonderful person, and answers your questions/emails/concerns, etc in a professional and quick manner! She by far has been my favorite vendor to work with!!!! I am super excited about my flowers!!!!! So sorry to hear about your troubles with the other vendor, but thank you for sharing!! So sad that they don't value their business enough to "thank you for considering their business and wish you the best in your wedding planning". Their rudeness would make me feel even more confident in my choice if I were you!!! I sent out 3 quotes myself and Angel was the only one that emailed me back, not to mention the next day!! So for me I knew she was the right vendor!!

Need a dress to wear to a wedding as a guest
roxyqt replied to cwelch's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
I have a Black Badgley Michka Dress in a size 4, I bought it for a wedding for a really good friend of mine, they ended up canceling their big wedding and eloped ... so i dont really have anywhere to wear it at the moment. The original price of the dress is $585. The dress has never been worn and only tried on once, the tags still attached. I paid just over $350 for it, and would love to sell it , I was hoping to get $250 + shipping for it, but would take any reasonable offers . I am a size 4-6. 34B. I attached a photo of the dress from a seller on ebay. If interested pm your email and I will send actual photos of the dress. It is really cute and fashionable . http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=150484113004 -

Hey everyone, I just wanted to tell everyone about a new resort that just opened recently on Pensacola Beach, FL. Jimmy Buffet opened the very 1st Margaritaville Hotel on Pensacola Beach over the summer 2010 . I am not sure about wedding details, I just thought I would share the info for any bride looking for a new, different place along the Gulf Coast !! Here is the new website for the Hotel http://www.margaritavillehotel.com/index.php While on Pensacola Beach I checked out the hotel and pool area and it looks really nice and I believe there are future plans for a water park and Margaritaville Cafe. Right now they have a detached bar called "Landshark Landing" with a really awesome beach area with beach volleyball and hammacks. Plus there is a restaurant located in the hotel lobby .

Kukui nut leis anyone??
roxyqt replied to Anna22's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I love the Kukui Leis, even if it is Hawaiian !! A friend of mine did Kukui Leis for her Maui wedding in 2008 for the wedding party. For the men they did just Kukui leis, instead of flowers. For the ladies they did bracelets and chokers (the chokers where actually longer than I thought and looked more like a necklace), also instead of bouquets we all threw petals and it created such a pretty isle for the birde!!!! The best part of the Kukui leis was that we could take them home and for the bride/groom the cost was far less than flowers , I've actually worn mine with a few summer outfits from time to time . I say go for it!!!! All the best!!! -
I have started working on our itinerary. Mostly I just want everyone to feel free to attend what they would like in the days before and after the wedding and have an amazing vacation in Key West. But by providing some great suggestions and trips we will be able to spend more time with who attends them . All of our dinners and cocktail parties will be open for ALL our guests who RSVPs to them , but if they would like make their own plans I will provide info on many restaurants and bars that we love in the area in their welcome packets as well as a email that I will send out prior to the wedding with any updated info for the wedding . I would be glad to share my itinerary with everyone once it is complete . With a destination wedding I don't think there is a wrong or right way to do things!!! I picked a DW because it allowed me to make my own rules . My main Goal: For our Friends and family to have a fun and memorable time celebrating our 1st journey as husband and wife

Thank you so much!! To be 100% honest, I'm not a super huge fan of cruising, but my FI is , and since the wedding is about the bride, I would like for him to make the decision about the honeymoon and what he would like to do . He feels it's the best way to see a good part of the Hawaiian Islands, and like you said, the itinerary is amazing. I'd love to hear what your parents have to say after the trip about the cruise . We will be taking the cruise a month or 2 after our wedding, my FI coaches Club, AAU & Collegiate Volleyball, so we will be waiting until his off season to take our trip. I couldn't imagine flying to Hawaii from Key West, so we will head home then make our trip later . Thankfully we are making a 2 week trip out of it, with a few day spent in California before the flight to Hawaii to break the flying time up from our home in Florida, then on the way home we will do a overnight in CA before flying home the next day, so we should have a couple of extra days to extend our time on the islands .

Honeymoon Wishes or Honeyfund
roxyqt replied to hzak1203's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
great info, we are looking at going a Honeymoon registry as well. It just makes more since for us and our guest with it being a destination wedding and not all our family attending. Even though we have told everyone that gifts are not something they have to bring/give us, everyone keeps asking me "where are you registering". We both have 2 houses full of stuff when we moved in together last December and had to sell/give items away when we made the move. Keep us posted on how it works out for you . -
Hi Ladies, Did anyone on the Hawaii Forum do a cruise around the Islands or did you island hop by ferry or plane? We are looking at staying in Oahu or Maui for a few day and then doing a 7 day cruise with NCL for our honeymoon. I told FI that staying a few days on Oahu or Maui is a must because even a overnight stop doesn't allow you to see everything. Just wanting info from a brides point of view of the pros and cons !! Thanks to all that help
