Hi Ladies! I'd love to help out as much as I can. Does anyone know how to post pictures? I've tried a few times but it hasn't worked for me. WOW! We're back and had the most amazing wedding! Once we met with Sandra everything was a breeze. They were so accommodating with our guests needs (high chairs & vegetarian meals). I was very pleasantly suprised with how much was included in our package (romance), and loved the flowers and decorations. We brought our own photographer, but the package we purchased included the hotel photographer as well. His pictures are amazing! And he was very prompt and professional. My husband and I had the beach wedding of our dreams!

Hi Everyone! My wedding is in less the 5 weeks, and it's been an interesting process! I found the best way to communicate with Sandra is via emails. Sometimes it has taken a few days for a response- but that the only way I've got one. She did say that me bringing an outside photographer wasn't a problem and didn't have any additional fees- but I think that is because I'm also using the hotel photographer as it's included in the Romance Package. I meet with Sandra for the fist time 2 days before our wedding to finalize all the details- and I'll let you know how everything works out **My friend was in Cancun last week and went to the NH for me to look around. She loved the place- so hopefully we will too!

I plan weddings professionallly everyday- but planning my own has been such a different experience! I think I'm driving Sandra at NH crazy- she's been very helpful, we just work on different time frames! I'm doing a small wedding with only twenty guests- but we actually booked our travel arrangements before finalizing that wedding date with Sandra. If you have the time- I'd recommend actually booking the wedding first, as it would probably decrease stress levels and the number of frantic emails to Sandra Our guests did get a great deal on travel arrangements though We chose the NH because it's not mainstream- but still offers 5-star quality. I haven't seen it, and won't until we arrive with our wedding guests. I'd be happy to keep you posted on my wedding experience with them. Also- I'd be happy to email you the wedding book I was sent. It looks lilke something they only send after the initial confirmation- and includes cake, flowers, and dinner options. Let me know what I can do to help! Rachel

Sandra sent me the wedding book yesterday- and that helped a lot! I haven't seen any pictures of the banquet areas. We're trying to have our ceremony and dinner directly on the beach, but if it's bad weather they have ballrooms available. I'm guessing the ballroom is the same as the "meetings" area, and they do have a few pictures of those rooms on the website. I hope this helps!

No Worries! There are so many options out there. I've been un-officially engaged for almost 2 weeks, and we found a fantastic location with a low-season rate... which helped our last minute notice to guests... I'm a local wedding planner, and I'm having a hard time with the response time of out of country cooridinators...but have fun and don't stress with things! Your day is going to be beautiful- don't stress the small stuff!
