Okay ladies...well...it looks like I am going to be a two dress bride....this dress literally just came in on Monday and I am looking to sell it. I had already purchased another while awaiting this dress. It is a Venus Bridal gown, Style # VW8607- Will sell for $400....make a reasonable offer if you are interested. It also came with a matching wrap and straps for the dress. It is in Ivory and is a size 22.

Glad I saw this...I'm starting to get gifts too...only thing is...I don't know if they are shower or wedding gifts? Also...I don't even have thank you cards yet!!! I guess I had better get busy!!

Oh my goodness Damaris...what a nightmare!!! The cousin's wife with the plus 5 gets the prize for the biggest balls I have EVER heard of in my life..excuse my french!! LOL Ay, yay, yay...I think at some point you may just have to say...no. That is what I did. I mean...some of these folks are testing the limit of what is common sense. Sheree....just saw this...I hear you. I was wondering what to do about this myself but after reading this thread...I think the best thing is to leave folks alone and not follow-up. I gave folks a very long RSVP deadline of May 15th. I have a rooming list for the hotel. The only kink is that some folks have mentioned trying to stay at another hotel next door...even though they were told not to...BUT...no RSVP...I will not call. The only ones I will follow-up on are folks that said yes...but have not booked a room....just to make sure they are not at the other hotel. People are so right...those who want to come...will come and they will certainly find a way to let you know. My only issue is that I've gotten back like 6 RSVP's declining to come...but with no name on them so I have NO idea who sent them!! I stupidly did not put some sort of id on the RSVP's so have no idea who they are.

Yes...they are out of a most of the original beige colors. This caused us a problem because one of the groomsmen ordered his suit before everyone else and now they are out of stock of the color we chose...as it is...they were out of teh original color we chose for the groomsmen...I then had to order the rest of the suits in Greek Beige...that color was not even part of the color swatches sent to me...I just hope it works!! Now my FI has one color, and the groomsmen will have two different colors!!! URGH!!

I haven't been around much lately...so don't know what the issue is...but those bouquets from Angel are gorgeous!!

Hi Ladies, ALthough I started this group session for May 8th, I had to switch my date. I had my shoot yesterday. All I can say is this...I am sooooo glad that we picked Jennifer to have our shoot with!!! Her studio is lovely and the pictures came out amazing. I had to look them over on her computer to pick the ones to be retouched...so many grogeous shots. I can only imagine what they will look like retouched. I also saw the photo album that we are getting as part of our group rate and it was NICE...much nicer than what I imagined actually...looked like it was flushmounted....it may not be...but it sure looked like it...which was a shocker to me. I saw one with some pics in it and it was just lovely. I would also suggest that you have her make-up artist do the make-up...these are glamour shots and nothing like the day to day make-up that we ordinarily wear...and it made the difference. Also...for any plus-size brides out there that are apprehensive about doing this...do it!! I am plus-size and let me tell you...she made me look good...very elongated and sexy!!! Can't wait to get the pics. So sorry that I can't join the rest of you ladies on the 8th but I know that my slot has been filled for that date!! Have a BALL ladies.

You look STUNNING!!! Your hubby is going to love, love, love these!!! I had my photo shoot with Jennifer yesterday and I can say that I HIGHLY recommend her too. I saw the pics on her computer and I was AMAZED. I am a plus sized bride and I felt really good about how the pics came out...and thsi was un-retouched...can't wait to get the retouched photos!!!

Yeah Mike!!! It sounds as if all of your hard work paid off!! So glad that Mathew Sweeting was so good...he is our minister too!! I credit you with findind many new vendors that we had not previously heard of...including the florist...it was too late for me, but it is nice to see that there are more than two options. First of all..Congrats!! The Cloisters is a STUNNING setting to have a wedding. Md2002 gave you some great recommendations. I too am getting married by Mathew Sweeting....he must make a mint!! LOL As for flowers, I am using a combination of Real Touch flowers for the bridal party and I have hired Floral Arts to do the flowers at the ceremony and reception as well as the decor. Believe it or not...their prices are much cheaper than Wildflowers. That being said...if I had known...I might have gone with the person that MD2002 chose...so....look into them. I tried to get the same DJ as MD2002 but he could not personally play at my wedding as my wedding date is a National Holiday in the Bahamas and he was busy...go figure? I did go with other recommendations of Mr. Sweeting and booked a DJ and steel pan drum player for GREAT prices. If you are interested in the info...send me a PM. Good luck and again..Congrats!!
