I'm soooo glad that I followed my instincts here. Now there are no worries that I will not like my flowers or that they will not have them in season. I am using fresh flowers as centerpieces....that was my compromise. Had I known how nice these were going to turn out...I would have ordered real touch centerpieces too!! I think that people will be shocked...I'm not saying anything until all is said and done. -
I am soooo happy right now...you have no idea. Many people thought that I was nuts for ordering fake flowers. After my wedding dress debacle (ordered my original dress on-line) I was nervous. Turns out that Roberta, PlumeriasWeddingFlowerBoutique, did a FABULOUS job!! I just got the proofs...they probably look even more amazing in person. They look so real...I can't believe it. That is one huge worry off of my mind. I used Peonies (fuchsia and hot pink), Pink Stargazer Lillies, and Fuchsia Tulips.

I'd sort of love to see his face when he opens it, but I'm a big fan of suspense so I think it'll be perfect for him to receive it when he can't see me and then have to wait! I'm an evil little girl Karen that is lovely!!! I may have to check out shutterfly. Have a WONDERFUL wedding and an even better marriage!! Enjoy!!

At first, I wanted to do my own book, but it was either pay $100 for the pics or $150 for the photobook...lol. I took the lazy way out! Ohh..that sounds nice....great touch with the poem..I think you made a great decision....lazy is good considering all that we have to do!!

I kind of want to because I can add text...we shall see.

Thanks again ladies...talk about a confidence builder!!! Very much appreciated. AlexsBride...first of all..CONGRATS!!! Even if you do not get down to your pre-pregnancy weight..consider doing a BD shoot anyway. I had "thought" that I owuld be 20lbs thinner by the time my boudoir shot came around...I was not...I didn't feel all that great going in...but...once you get that make-up on, get all dolled up..and let's not forget the magic of "retoucing"...you will be fine!! Hope you have a happy and healthy baby. Selassie11- Thanks...I plan on giving them to him right before the welcome dinner the night before our wedding. He will not be spending that night with me...so..hopefully...the pictures will give him a little something to think about Creole...our day is almost here!!!

You guys are the best!!! Thanks again for the sweet words!! Damaris...thank you for reminding us of the very important point that you made. I think we as women pick ourselves apart far too much. They put a ring on it...so they must like something!! Luchdiamond- Here is the website...click on the link to the galleries and then click on "Boudoir": Beautiful and Affordable Photography

Oh my goodness...thank you ladies..I feel like I'm going to cry...your words are so sweet. Much appreciated!! DWBridetobe- you should go for it!! I'm a 16W/18W...larger than you...a mere 16/18 You will be glad that you did. I can see you now all glammed up!! The best advice I can give is to pay the extra money to have your make-up done professionally as the make-up really adds to the glamour of the photos. As for poses...my photog came up with them all. I know that there is a thread on here with BD poses...it is a good idea to come in with ideas. QueenDiva- Go for it!! Don't let anything hold you back!! Bahiabride...yes..it is a confidence builder...I can't even believe I posted these photos!!! LOL Those of us that are plus-sized should not let our size hold us back!! Lucy...I love what you said...we as women come in all shapes and sizes and each of us has her own special beauty.

Well, I got my pics back today and I LOVE them!! Jen did them from Jenerations and she was FABULOUS to work with!! I wasn't sure if I was going to post any, but when I was trying to arrange a group, quite a few ladies were unsure if doing BD pics were for them because they were a liitle larger. So ladies...here I am...size 16w/18W and all...and I did it!! You can too!! I edited the last pic....

I think that's what Tammy was referring to when she said the "original poster" was complaining on multiple threads- instead of just starting her own. I hope all this silly drama didn't ruin your excitement over your invites though!! Yes...I pretty much knew what Tammy was referring to...just wanted to make sure everyone knew that I was still happy with my invites and was not the one with the issue!!! Oy...life is too short!! LOL

OMG...I REALLY feel like a slacker now!!! I just really looked at the DIY board the other day!! Yikes!! -

Just one correction Tammy...I am the original poster and I love my invites!!! Another poster made a complaint on MY thread!!! I was not going to say anything....and honestly..I am not judging...I just wish that the person with the complaint would not have posted their issues with Sarah on this thread...these invites made me happy and that's how I would like to remember it...not taking sides...but maybe the one with the issue should have posted their issues with Sarah elsewhere...no offense...but honestly...that is how I feel. Hope everything works out for all involved.
