Thanks Karen & Sheree...good advice from you both. Also...I will add...if you are not a DIY gal...don't pick three weeks before your wedding to try to be something that you are not!! LOL I am sooooo envious of the talented ladies on here...I wish I could be like them many days. Oh well..... Sheree....your day is coming soon too!!! It's like time is on warped speed the closer it gets. BTW Karen....LOVE the siggy pic...just lovely!!

I LOVE mine...for all things Blackberry and to figure out all the neat things you can do with it...such as themes and programs ....go to CrackBerry.com ? The #1 Site for BlackBerry Users & Abusers. I'm up for a new one next month and I always go to this site for advice. They know every problem with each phone and can tell you how to get the most out of your phone.

We are actually taking a cruise there with our guests and getting married on Cove Beach at Atlantis with a beach cocktail hour afterwards. We also rented a room in the Royal Towers to get ready in! -#1: I DO NOT want to spend $20pp for cake since we are having a DW to save money Please let me know if any of you find any cheaper cake options or vendors. -#2: Do any of you know who is doing your hair and make-up for the wedding yet? My coordinator is Alphanique at Atlantis and she said that I could go to their salon called Mandara. Anyone have experience with them or are you bringing someone in? I would love some recommendations! Thanks so much!!! First of all...Congrats!!! The Cove Beach is gorgeous and much more private than West Beach where I am getting married. I had no idea that they allowed anyone who was not a Cove guest to get married there or have a reception there. In any case...consider yourself lucky!! Alphanique is also my coordinator and I LOVE her!!! Just an FYI...you have no choice but to purchase your cake from the Atlantis. You can't use an outside vendor. That should be in your paperwork. The prices are from $13 and up....ask Alphanique to double check but I'm fairly certain I am correct about this. As for the spa, it is a great spa. I will be getting my hair done there but not my make-up. A friend recommended someone on the island...we shall see. If the person turns out to be good....I will be happy to share the information. -

WHY am I ruuning around town a week before I have to leave looking for fuchsia color satin ribbon? Its not like I knew the date when I would need them by!!! LOL. Ay, yay, yay....we will get it together.

LOL. He just sent me a proof and I am ECSTATIC!!! I keep telling him to go on Etsy but he likes to keep his clientel small. So....I am soooo happy right now.

From what I remember....you can buy additonal vases. The exact dimensions can be found if you click on the link. I thought at first that it might be too small but when I saw it in person, I really liked the dimensions. Also....the original one I was going to buy has 4 pieces and is pretty large. I'm sure you've seen it. If you google heart shaped sand ceremony kit it should come right up. It's a bit more expensive but VERY nice. Thanks ladies....I can't believe I cut it so close!!

Hi, Is anyone using/or has used an engravable photo frame with an engravable mat for their guest book? I just ordered one and love the idea of it. I like that I can display it in our home after the wedding and will also have the guests at our VERY casual AHR sign it. I'm worried about carrying it on the plane though...it it will be too cumbersone, etc. What if anything did or will you use to display the frame at your reception? Also...did you attach the pen to the frame in any way? I'm worried about someone walking off with the only pen that can be used!! Thanks.

Hi Ladies, I am down to the wire and just ordered my sand ceremony kit this week....and I got it in today!! I had my eye on a heart-shaped kit that was over $50 and did not include the sand. I found the following kit on-line this week and it was a VERY reasonable $24.95 and inlcudes two 12oz bottles of the sand color of your choice...I was able to get colors that matched my wedding...magenta/gray (silver)...also...each piece comes with a cork!! It's not too huge...and it's not too small. Here it is: Here is the site...they also have other types of sand ceremony kits: Memory Sands - Beautiful Wedding Unity Sand Ceremony Glass Vase Kits!

I think Compass Pointe fits the description. A pricier option is the One and Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island....right across the street is the beautiful Cloisters where you can have your ceremony.

I'm honestly thinking of a nice way to word that on our invites LOL This is EXACTLY what I am doing. I'm not getting married at Sandals...but I heard the same complaints and let me tell you...I got a CHEAP rate for the quality of my hotel. The bottom line is that people will complain. The fact is that in this economy people are hurting. However, what I have found is that those whom REALLY and TRULY want to be there and can afford it..will make a way. For those whom absolutely can not make it because of financial reasons, we had to break down and have an very casual bar-b-que when we get back. They really seem to appreciate that. For all the others...whom just want to complain...my stock repsonse has been "So sorry if you will not be able to make it...we will miss you" and I keep it moving!!! Do what YOU want to do...as my mother told me when I was getting so much grief...people do EXACTLY what they want to do with their lives and don't consult you!! She was soooo right...even when you try to accommodate some...they will still have issues or others will have issues so it's best to just do YOU!! -

It is a secret...we are having two people whom will not be at the wedding be our witnesses. We do not want our friends and family to know....we want them to fully enjoy the experience of our wedding.

Although waiting until the official ceremony and in Punta Cana may be more romantic and fun?? I have no clue. Imma just leave it in the bathroom for him today lol. Yes I know!!! It's all happening so fast..I'm starting to panic ever so slightly!! LOL I hear you about being anxious to give the fI the book...I THINK I am going ot give it to him the night before...but I like that idea of giving it the day of the civil ceremony.
