Sometimes the rain passes quick (just like in Florida) and you can wait it out if there are not too many weddings lined up on a given day. It wouldn't hurt to ask about your indoor options and how they would be decorated.

I love Rockhouse their food is phenomenal. I haven't been to PushCart but if its anything like the other restaurant it will be yummy and Rockhouses' service is top notch!

I still don't understand why photographers who are in jamaica only give 200-300 photos for such a high price when the US photographers give upwards of a thousand photos.

aside from hiring a regular hairstylist and makeup artist, i would think the ones at the hotels have a lot more experience dealing with not only local people in jamaica but also more of a variety of races and skin types since they work at the hotel and probably see all skin types. i also bet they have the most experience doing wedding makeup and probably know how to make it last more than someone at a salon. i would be interested in finding some reviews of MUA's in jamaica though.

The thing is worrying about airport delays and if the dirt roads get washed out.

Are you set on that particular resort or that particular travel agent?

I think it is going to depend on how much communication you have before your wedding with your wedding coordinator. If they are the type that just throws the details together at the last minute then I would go as early as possible. If they are contracted to assist in planning "before" the wedding, then I wouldn't worry about having three days to tie details together if it is their job before the wedding to make sure its done.
